Chapter 3 (Meeting Cass)

John's POV
I ran out of my room with my backpack and went down stairs. I grabbed a breakfast bar from the kitchen and sat down. "Finally, I can enjoy my extra time." But when I looked at the window I saw the bus driving up. I jumped out of the chair and ran straight to the door. I ran out of the house only to see the bus leaving. I tried to run after the bus but I failed.(Great now I got to walk to school.) Just then, a royal blue sports car with a black line on the side came by but it turned around and stopped by me. The driver was a girl about my age with purplish-blue hair. "Hey, do you need a driver." she said. " Yeah, thanks." I said as I got into the car. "So... what's your name?" " Cassandra. just call me Cass." She said. "What about you?" "John." "Like John or Jonny or Jonathan or what about......" " Just John ok." "Ok John it is." she said. For the time, it was kind if silent except for the music which was some type of song that is probably old. We got to the school in a couple of minutes before the walkers and bus riders came. We got out of the car and started walking. "Hey, thanks again...." but I noticed she disappeared. I walked into the school and went to my locker, opened it, grabbed my stuff, closed it, then walked to my class. I walked into my class and started to draw. As time was passing by more and more students were walking in. I saw Daniel walk in and take a seat next to me. " Hey John, what ch' drawing?" " A clear blue river flowing into the ocean." "Cool, that reminds me next week is Oceania day, everyone is going to go to the beach and help out the ocean, you coming?" "Of course I will, nobody ever forgets that." "Ok good so hey are you picking me up or am I picking you up or what?" "Oh I'll drive, I just got this new car and I want to use it." " Ok cool." Then the teacher walked in. "Ok, class I need you to do the warm up, but first ok have an announcement. One of my wonderful students has been elected to create posters for all the clubs by next week and if you do a great job you might get elected to this international project but, I can't tell you the details unless you get elected."One of the girls probably got elected. "John please come over here."What I got elected?!? I hesitantly got up and walked over to Miss. Flinders. " Congratulations John for being the first boy ever elected to make posters. I'm very proud to have a student with such talent." "Thank you Miss. Flinders." Everyone applauded as I went to go sit down. For the rest of the class I was generally happy.

After class....
I walked to my locker and opened it when I heard calling my name. I turned around only to see Keith running up to me. "Hey John, so I heard you got elected." "Yeah dude, but I need to get my math up and I need a tutor hey do you know anyone who can tutor" " Uh let me think..... oh I know theirs this girl who's in the choir room right now she tutors math, I think her name is Cassandra?" "Oh I know her, thanks for the help." I ran to the choir room and looked into the window. I saw only her in there. I silently walked in only to hear a beautiful voice, a voice way different than her normal voice it was like I was in a trance. It was like the whole room disappeared. I ended up tripping on a chair and almost fell, when Cass caught me. "Woah dude, next time you should be aware of you surroundings." Cass said. "How can you sing so.....so beautifully?!?" She hesitated for a moment but she finally answered. " Umm...... natural talent." I felt like she was lying, but I let it go. " ok..... so I heard that your good at math can you help me out today so I could do this project I was elected to do?" "Uh...... sure, I could help you what time are you willing to come to my house." " 6:30, that's the earliest I can come, I have soccer right after school and it doesn't end until 5:30." "Ok see yeah, oh by the way, if I'm in this room alone it's not a good idea to walk in." "alright see yeah." "Bye." then I left to go to my next class.

Hey guys sorry I didn't write in a while. I can get very lazy when it comes to stuff.I was going to make this chapter longer but I didn't want to kill the reader so I decided to split my idea into two parts and the next chapter might be a little shorter but I try to keep the chapters about the same. If my idea is too short I will try to detail it or add more to it. So we have a new character (yay yip yip hooray!!!!!!). she going to have a super power and she will revealit in the next chapter. Also I will be adding two new peeps in my cast members section. One last thing I would like to make a shout out to one of my friends who's been helping me out with this book I will tell you her name in the next chapter.
