Gwen's POV
I woke up to my brother and sister jumping on my bed. " Wake up, wake up, it's time for school!!!!" they both said excitedly. " Ugh, ok ok I'm up." I said not so excitedly. (They must be happy that they are starting high school. Then Meagan used her powers to make an ice ring and her and James skied out. After about five Minutes the ice disappeared, I was able to get dressed and my dad took me to school. " So my baby is starting 10th grade, its amazing." "yeah, I know." ".........." "What dad? I didn't hear you." "Never mind..... just never mind. Oh yeah, promise me this, please get some friends,I'm afraid you will be lonely." " Dad, you don't have to worry about me, I'm used to loneliness...." "Just promise" he said in a nervous tone. "Ok dad, I promise, " I said hesitantly. I don't know if I will ever have friends. I jumped out of the car and all I saw was a whole wave of students, trying to get to their classes, or they are just standing around and talking to their friends or showing off their powers. I started walking when one of my old friends grabbed my arm. " Gwen OMG I didn't know you you were going to be here." "Umm... Surprise?" "Wait if you here then that means Meagan and James are here!?!" I knew it. She just wants to see Meagan and James. " Oh Dina, uh... I have to go to my class" "Wait, Gwen but where's......" But I already left. I went to my class and sat at the desk farthest from the teacher and started reading. As the class was filling up I could hear people talking about some kid name Kyle. Apparently he is more powerful than some of the teachers here. (Well I hope he won't turn into a villain, that will be Merlin all over again.) Then the last kid ran in. He had long, fluffy, brown hair and hazel eyes. He walked straight to the desk sitting right next to me. "Hey, my name is John." "Gwen." "Well nice to meet you" "A pleasure to meet you too." then it went silent, until he started talking again. "So....... you wanna look at our schedules, you know to see what classes we have together?" "um.... Sure why not." We switched schedules and I looked at his to my surprise we had many classes together. " Wow, we have so many classes together." "I know right." "Yeah...." "Oh Gwen one more thing so do you want to sit next to me and my friends during lunch or do you have your own group of friends?" "Oh no I'm kind of aloner...." "Oh come on Gwen wouldn't it be nice to have some friends." I do kind of miss having friends to trust and work with. "well.... ok." His expression changed from nervous to excited and he started dancing, until the teacher walked in. "Alright good morning class, my name is Mrs.. Peterson and we will be learning Biology in this class. Ok now turn to page 12 in your textbook and read sections 1-5."
Lunch time....
I walked to the cafeteria and saw a crowd of students. (I've never sat in the cafeteria before I wonder where are they?) You see, ever since my friends left me I've always sat outside and I got used to it. "Hey Gwen over here." I hear John say. I looked around and saw John and a mixed group of girls and guys all who look like descent people. I walked over to the table and sat next to John. All the kids at the table seemed like they were happy since a new kid joined them, excepted one girl. " So Gwen, this is Harley, Amani, Daniel, Keith, Trixi, and Rico." Said John and each one of them said hi in a nice friendly way except Trixi, who said it in a harsh, mean way. " Well, glad to meet you all, I would tell you my name but it looks like you already know." I tried to say in a nice friendly way. " Well now that that's over I have some important news, I have super powers!!!" Trixi said in an excited way. " Wow congratulations Trixi, so what is your super power." " I have the power to control plants." and she grew a rose from the potted plant that was near us. " Well that's cool, so it was fun hanging out with all of you so does this make us friends?" Then they all said yes. " Well thanks for letting me hang with you during lunch but I need to get to class, see ya." I heard all but Trixi say goodbye, well you can't be friends with everyone.
End of the day....
I closed my locker and walked out of school. Most of the kids either get picked up from school or ride the bus home, but I'm one of the few walkers. Usually when I walk from school I go though the woods. While I'm walking, I hear a rustle in the trees. I turn around and see no one so I walked again. I hear a rustle again and this time I see a couple blurs of brown, black and silver. "Malcolm, I know it's you, so you can come out now." Threes huge wolves came out into the open and changed to Malcolm, Phillip, and José. " Hey Gwen my buddy, how are you?" Malcolm was the only friend who stuck around when everyone else left. He is a werewolf and he just made alpha male in his pack. Phillip and José are his friends and they are wolves too. I guess Malcolm is like the brother that cares about me. " I'm doing fine what about you?" " Oh, nothing much just hunting with the boys, well anyway see ya around." " See ya!" I said before they turned back into wolves and ran off. I walked to my house and opened the door. Before I walked in I heard a howl. I smiled and went inside.
