I looked outside the window and my thoughts were with Louis. I wasn't able to stop thinking about him, about his perfect lips, his eyes, his hair and his... „What's going on here? Why are you so quiet?" Ty's words pushed me back in reality. I shook my head to clear my thoughts.

„I am sorry." I mumbled and smiled at him. Tyler rolled his eyes „Please do not tell me you unlearned how to speak in the UK." I laughed „I didn't, I am just tired I did sleep well last night." Ty wrinkled his forehead and a small grin appeared on his lips „Cause you smashed with Louis?" I shook my head. „ Tyler stop he didn't touch me." I laughed and Tyler's grin disappeared „Good, cause if he would've, I would kill him." I swallowed.

„You're a jerk," I mumbled, and even if I knew that Ty was joking, it didn't feel good to hear these words out of his mouth. „How's Monica doing?" I asked quickly to change the subject.Tyler twitched his shoulders „ She's okay I guess, I didn't see her in a while." I wrinkled my forehead, that was weird, they used to be together all the time.

„She's excited to see you again," Tyler added looking towards. I leaned back „Good to hear, I didn't speak to her in a while you know." Tyler just nodded without emotions.

We arrived at my Grandmother's house a few minutes later and she was waiting outside excited. I immediately had to smile when I saw her face full of laugh wrinkles,She always looked so happy. I ran to her and held her tight. Hugging her felt like home.„Claire! you are so tall, and did you lose weight? That's not good you know that!"I laughed and felt a tear rolling down my cheek. I missed her.

„She also got a little boyfriend," Tyler murmured and I felt a clap on my back head. I just showed him my middle finger behind Grandma's back and hugged her again. Tyler grinned. „Who? My girl got a boyfriend?" Grams said excited and let go of me. I shook my head „N..." „Claire got a boyfriend?! Monica come here." I looked up to the balcony and saw little Maria jumping up and down out of excitement.

I laughed and heard a squeak out of the house. The door suddenly opened and Veronica Jackson and Maria stormed out of the house in my direction. They nearly run me over and they all tried to talk to me at the same time so I just understood a few single words.

Maria was the first who hugged me, or my legs so I picked her up and hugged Veronica with Maria in my arm. She looked different but still beautiful. Her happy smile, Happy eyes, happy face. I missed her.

Her smile suddenly disappeared and she looked at me. „Uhm I'm sorry what did you say?" I asked quietly and she shook her head strictly „Why didn't you tell me you got a boyfriend." „Exactly my thoughts." Grandma said from the back. I looked at Tyler who leaned against the railing and looked at us grinning I shook my head.

„I do not have a Boyfriend Tyler is spreading lies again."I defended myself and looked at grandma who waved off and turned away. Veronica made a face and I just twitched my shoulders„ I thought you would be a little exciting for once in your life but noo."Monica said and threw her arms in the air. I screwed up my eyes and let down Maria who ran to grandma immediately.

Jackson laid his arm on my shoulder „I don't think you're boring."He said and nodded encouragingly. I grabbed his hand that was hanging over my shoulder and smiled at him „At least anyone who doesn't."

The whole evening was wonderful, We've had a barbecue in the garden and everyone looked so happy the whole time. And the best moment of the evening was probably a kiss between Veronica and Ty, even if it was short and more like a secret kiss, it gave me goosebumps. I was so happy for them. I really thought they broke up while I wasn't there.

The night came fast and I had to go to bed, I was still tired and Maria was also very tired. So they went home and I was alone with grandma again.

She started to talk as the door shut behind my friends „They missed you, believe me, I wasn't able to get rid of them, they were hanging around in this house 24/7 especially Tyler, honey they missed you."I grinned at her „I've missed them too grams, you don't even want to know..."I mumbled these words and I think grandma didn't get them until she gave me a concerned look.

„Sweetie, what happened in London?" She asked quite. I leaned against the closed door and stared at my shoe tips „Nothin it's just..." „It better not has anything to do with that boyfriend Tyler talked about!"She interrupted me and made a hand gesture. I laughed quietly „Nooo, everything is fine, I am good and London is great, don't worry about me." I said and tried to grin but my emotions said something else. I wanted to cry, London was shit, the school, my mother's husband, and the thing with Louis.

I was so confused, I didn't even know if it was sadness or happiness I felt when I thought about him. „ I wanted to talk to you about boys sweetheart."Grams began and made her way to the living room, I followed her quietly „I know your dad hated to see you with boys"I nodded smirking. I remembered when he saw me going home with Jackson, he nearly ran him over and killed me after, but I was able to explain that we're just going home together. The explanation didn't change anything about the fact that he would kill me afterward but it changed something about Jackson's chance of staying alive.

„I think this should change,Honey, you are 17 now and you have a lot to explore, especially with boys, don't ruin your chance to be alive, go to party's, kiss whoever you want to, have fun, darling." I took a seat in front of hers and wrinkled my forehead, was this a joke?

„Dad wouldn't want me to...." „Honey, you father, my dear son, is dead, he can't tell you what to do, does he? And I am pretty sure he's watching us from up there right now."She pointed at the ceiling „And gives you the permission to meet boys."I smile sadly.
