first of all, sorry for the wait. i have been up and down mentally and not focused on writing. i also am in the process of moving into a new house in 8 days and im just now starting to pack. anyways i dont wanna rant too much but i want some friends so if anyone wants to fall in love my socials are in my bio thing lmao

y/n's pov

as i woke up from what i expected to be a tiny nap, i noticed it had turned into much more than that. i had a faint memory of being shaken awake around 11 at night to make sure i was okay, which i believe i replied yes to, but i can't 100% remember.

i rubbed the sleep out of my eyes and turned over to see alex fast asleep on the other side of the bed. his hair all over the pillow and his mouth slightly open with a quiet snore escaping his lips every few seconds. i turn back over to look at my phone. 2:03 am. i decided to try to sleep a little longer even though i didn't feel tired, because it was early and i figured getting up this early wouldn't be smart.

it didn't work. i sat in the bed for what felt like hours of restless laying. i looked at my phone. 2:22. i turned to make sure alex was still asleep and i got out of bed, grabbing my phone and going into the kitchen to grab a bottle of water. as the cold floor hit my feet my brain became less foggy.

as i sat on the couch sipping my cool water and going on my phone, a tiktok caught my eye. i decided that the people in the short video playing on my phone were up to something. i grabbed my shoes and stepped outside. the chilly early morning air hit my arms and i was immediately reminded of the fact that i was wearing a tank top and quietly walked back inside.

i looked to the island id been eating at in the morning time, and i saw the hoodie i had taken off yesterday when we came home and somehow my brain went to the brownies. i slid on alex's hoodie and made my way over to the tinfoil wrapped brownie pan.

"fuck." i swore under my breath
tinfoil was hard to keep quiet, but oh my god i wanted a corner piece. (if u like middle pieces no u dont❤️)

as i walked out of the house with my keys, and the items i had required over the course of the ten minutes i was downstairs, i sat in the car and drove to a nearby mcdonalds.

"hi! i'll have a (order)" i decided not to get a drink, since id go to the gas station and get some stuff before heading off.

once i got my food, i went to the 24/7 gas station and got some things.

first i grabbed a few monsters, of assorted flavors, and then walked over to the chip aisle. i grabbed three bags of chips, and then made my way over to the final area before the check out. candy. i grabbed a whole bunch, and made my way to the girl who seemed to be around her mid twenties, who was wearing a hoodie and some leggings similar to myself. unlike me, though, her hair was a black color on one side, and a reddish pink on the other. (ugh i want this so bad)

"late night snack trip?" she smiled at me.

"yep, cant fall asleep so i came to get some food. i love your hair!" i didnt bother to say too much about it because i stowaways felt my rambling was annoying.

as i returned home, it was around 4 am and i has finished my food. i started to get drowsy so i walked back upstairs to my bedroom after putting my snacks away.

alex rustled when i got back into bed, so i cuddled up to him and we both fell into a calm sleep, until we would wake up a little later the next morning.
