Your shift ended and you went to locker room changing out of your maid costume back into your shirt and leggings. You were a bit worried to walk back with Suna, you had barley talked to him up until today.

"Hey, how was your shift" Suna said waiting at the door for you.

"Oh it was good, thanks for waiting for me I appreciate it" you said giving him a gentle smile.

You both exited the cafe making small talk trying to pass the time.

"So why do you work at a maid cafe?"

"I needed a bit of extra money and they were hiring so I just kinda ended up there" you said shrugging.

"Oh cool, I never knew you worked there it seems like a fun job"

"Yeah it's okay, but your really the only one who knows I work there" you said fidgeting with your hair.

"Oh actually? Why doesn't anyone else know?"

"I don't want people getting the wrong idea about me"

"I don't have the wrong idea about you, I'm actually glad I ran into you today your really chill"

"Thanks I'm glad I met you too, umm do you think you could keep my job a secret-" you were unable to finish your sentence because Suna interrupted you saying

"Don't worry I won't tell anyone, it can be our little secret" he said with a bit of a smirk.

The two of you continued to walk until you finally reached the doors to your apartment. You waved him goodbye as you unlocked and entered your apartment room.

Sighing from your long day you slumped down onto your couch to be greeted by your brown cat named Latte. You had gotten her your junior year of college, one year ago. You spent your first two years at a college closer to your home town but transferred to a different university for your last two years. It was a bit lonely and you missed your friends so you got Latte to keep you company.

Latte hopped onto your lap and purred as she curled up taking a nap. ᓚᘏᗢ

It had around 4 days since you had ran into Suna at the cafe, you assumed he just forgot about and you returned back to your schedule, classes then work then rest/study repeat.

Consistency and reliability were important parts of your life, moving from your hometown to a city disrupted your consistency but it was important that you did. There were memories back in your hometown that you needed to escape and a change in your life had to happen. Hence the transfer to the different University.

It was around 7:30 am your class started at 8:45, you had already showered and gotten dressed. Your college wasn't very far away, around a 15 minute walk so you had planned to stop and get coffee. You left the house at 8 petting Latte on the head as you exited your apartment.

You made it to the coffee shop and waited in line to order, as you were skimming for a place to sit your eyes met with another pair, Suna.

He was sitting at a table by the window with his laptop open. He gave you a gentle smile and waved, you waved back just as it was your turn to order.

"I'll have a medium iced caramel macchiato please"

"Okay your total will be $4.35 please swipvyour card when your ready" the barista said.

You paid for you coffee and pondered if you should sit by yourself or go to Suna. You two had already acknowledged each other's presence so it would of made it even more awkward if you didn't properly talk to him.

Your order was called and you picked it up from the counter and made your way to were Suna was sitting.

"Hey is it okay if I sit here?"

Suna responded with a smile and said "of course you can, I was hoping you would actually"

You made small talk once again trying to fill the awkward void, he had closed his computer that he was before working on "so why do you have your computer with you?" You asked out of curiosity.

"I was just catching up on some work I design video games"

" that's so cool! It sounds like a fun job"

"Yeah it's pretty nice, I get to work from home most days, I probably only have to go into the office once it twice a month" he said sipping his espresso.

The two of you continued to talk then you remember school. You pulled out your phone checking the time 8:35.

"I'm so sorry I have to go! Class starts in 10 minutes" you said as you grabbed all of your stuff.

"Oh okay, sorry for making you lose track of time"

"It's okay really" you said reassuring him

"Before you go can you give me your number so we don't have to keep running into each other at cafes?" He said with a chuckle.

"Yeah i would like that" you said as you pulled out a pen from your purse wring the digits to your number on a clean napkin.

"Bye Suna!" You said as you jogged out of the cafe, you smiled to yourself, who knew running into Suna would make you that happy.

You made it to class 10 minutes late
