Warning- slight angst

"No, you are not under arrest, we just have some questions to help us fill in our timeline" a police woman said to you escorting you into an office to chat.

To say you were shaken up would be an understatement.

"What was your relationship with Ushijima" asked the police woman, "he was my boss, I was just his assistant" you reply telling the truth.

"So it was strictly professional" she asked jotting down notes with a pen and paper. "Yes, strictly professional" you respond.

"We have evidence that proves Ushijima didn't see it that way" said the woman pulling out a laptop. You furrowed your eyebrows, confused, what is she talking about?

"Once Ushijima was arrested we gained access to his computer, we have emails between him and another individual who we are apprehending right now, Oikawa. The emails talk about the government closing in on their illegal business, there is mention of taking you with them to flee the country avoiding arrest, which obviously failed." She said.

You stared at her in awe, this had to be a prank, a practical joke. No way this could be real. You shook your head, "I'm sorry there has to be some sort of a mistake... Ushijima would never, he was a kind boss and treated me well" you say feeling tears start to form in your eyes.

"Is it true that you and Oikawa use to be in a relationship?" She asked twirling her pen in her hand, "yes, during my first two years of college, but I broke up with him and moved to a new college." You explain "Hmm okay, thank you" she said exiting the room leaving you alone.

Around two hours later you were finally allowed to leave the station. Rin was waiting outside the station in his car, his foot was tapping nervously waiting for you to come out.

As he saw you exit the building he came rushing to you embracing you in a hug, "babe, I was so worried about you, are you okay?" He said pressing his forehead to yours "yes, I'm fine they just wanted a little bit of info" you say feeling tears building up again.

"I'm so sorry that all of this happened" he said as his heart was aching watching you hold back your tears, "it's okay, as long as your with me I'll be fine no matter what" you say bringing your lips to his.

The kiss was sweet and passionate, for a short moment you had forgot about everything. The only thing in your mind was Suna Rintarou.

After pulling away from the kiss you got into the car as the two of you headed back to the apartment. Once you got back Latte hopped off of the couch running up to you purring and rubbing against your leg. You gave her small patt on the head as Rin went to bathroom as he began running water for you in the bath.

You got in letting the bubbles soak into you skin. You honestly had no idea what you were going to do, you still had your job at the maid cafe but that wouldn't be enough now that the company you worked for fell apart.

You spun your finger in the water watching the bubbles swirl around. It was peaceful, something you needed.

Getting out of the bath you drained the water and dried off slipping into comfortable clothes. You walked out of your room and into the living room where Rin was sitting watching the news. When he saw you enter the room he turned it off not wanting you to hear more about Ushijima and Oikawa.

"Come here baby" he said holding out his arms letting you curl up next to him. "I have an idea, I don't know it's probably crazy but what if we just left" he said stroking your hair.

"Go where" you ask turning to him, "no clue, London, Mexico maybe America, I don't care as long as I'm with you."

You sat in silence for a good 2 minutes until you opened your mouth "yeah, I would like that, let's leave" you say.

"Really?" He said, "yeah I mean why not, nothing is keeping me in Japan, and I love you" you say a smile appeared on your face for the first time today.

"Okay let's do it" he said bringing you into a kiss.
