The final chapter

You had been in London for one week, you and Rin spent the majority of the time unpacking luggage and sight seeing. The two of you walked down the streets of London, seeing Big Ben, Trafalgar Square and drinking tea a high noon.

Your flat was a good size, two bed rooms, a bathroom with a washing machine plus a kitchen. There was a small balcony that had little purple flowers growing in pots. On the sidewalks people were riding bikes and walking dogs under the bright green spring trees.

The room was the perfect size, the bed was pushed against the wall with a plush grey comforter and white fluffy pillows (that Latte loved sleeping on) and across from the bed was a large TV and bookshelves on either side. You loved how the window perfectly framed the street, it looked as if it was painting or a photo.

You missed Japan a lot but London was also amazing. Your world felt so much larger now, you had only been there for a week but each day felt more and more like home.

Flashback

It was your first day in a new apartment, you had just moved from your old town where you had people/memories you wanted to be away from.

Hmm which room am I... 123? 124...? Ah! 126. You were dragging around a large suite case trying to find your apartment room, somehow you were struggling with it.

"Are you okay?" Asked a tall male walking down the hall way, "yeah I'm sorry- I'm just a bit lost, you see I'm moving in today and I can't find my room" you say scratching your head. "Let me help you, what's your room number" he asked moving closer to you. "Room 126" you reply, "no way- I'm room 125" he said smiling.

You followed him down the hallway finally making it to your room. You thanked him and set your stuff down in your living room. You had forgotten to ask him what his name was, but since you were neighbors you knew you would be running into him again.

End of flashback

You and Rintarou were walking around the city, taking in your new environment. "Look! There's a fair going on!" You say pointing down the street. "Can we go" you ask turning to face Rintarou with pleading eyes, "anything for you" he said smiling kissing your cheek.

As the two of you made your way through the crowd a brown teddy bear caught you eye. "That will be 2 pounds" said the man at the fair station. Handing him your money you took the baseballs aiming it at the milk jugs stacked on top of each other. 1st ball- missed, 2nd ball- hit it, but none fell over, 3rd ball- missed again.

You sighed at your failure turning around when Rin pulled out his wallet paying for another round, with one hit he knocked them all over. "Is this what you wanted?" He asked handing you the little brown bear, "yes! Thank you so much Rin" you say throwing your arms around him, he really is the best boyfriend.

"I can't believe you had three chances and didn't knock even one over" he said chucking watching your face grow red, half from anger and half from embarrassment.

As you walked through the fair the smell of sweet sugar filled your senses as you got close to a cotton Candy stand. Before you could even open your mouth to ask for some Rintarou said, "you don't even have to ask" with a chuckle.

He handed you a large pink fluff Cotton Candy stick, you pulled some off feeling the sweet sugar dissolve on your tongue. Rin took a couple of bites as well enjoying the treat.

You and Rin had made it to the end of the fair, a block away stood the London Eye, "Rin can we go on it?" You ask after tossing the cotton Candy stick in the trash, "yeah sure" he said grabbing your hand as the two of you walked down the street.

"Wow Rin the view is gorgeous!" You say pointing out the window of the Ferris wheel. "I'm really happy we did this" Rintarou said smiling watching your eyes light up as you reached the top of the wheel getting a picture perfect view of the city.

You couldn't help but feel your heart flutter, your life finally felt like like everything was going right.

You were so occupied looking out the glass you didn't notice what Rintarou was doing, "it's so pretty!" You say turning to Rin, shocked your eyes widened to see him on one knee.

"I've been looking for the right time to ask you this- and this just felt right... y/n since the first day I met you I knew you were special, unlike anyone else I had ever met. I can't believe I'm so lucky to call you mine. Y/n will you marry me?" He asked pulling out a black box with your dream ring inside of it.

"Yes- yes of course!" You say tears of joy filling your eyes as he slipped the ring onto your finger pulling you into a passionate kiss.

You never would of guessed you would be marrying the boy next door.
