"Renjun? Renjun wake up, your shift's over." Beomgyu tried shaking the boy, who groaned and started rubbing at his eyes. "Please don't tell me I slept through the whole thing again." He looked at his co-worker. Beomgyu gave him a tired smile. "I take it that your headaches are getting very bad, so I decided to just let you sleep. Go home." Renjun thanked him before gathering his things and leaving the building.

His bus ride home was all of twenty minutes, which gave him enough time to think about whatever he had done that day. He had taken a few tablets, in hope that his headache would go away. Maybe that's why he fell asleep at work. Bless Beomgyu's kind soul for letting him sleep. He looked out the window of the bus and squinted at a small child holding some cotton candy, petting what seemed to be a Samoyed, coincidentally Renjun's favourite dog breed. He smiled at the sight, reminding himself that he was probably never going to have children because no one loved him romantically.

And just when he thought that, he felt a sharp pain in the back of his head.  "I suppose old scars never heal." He chuckled as he remembered the injury he sustained when he was nineteen. As much as he loved that period of time in his life, speaking about it openly might get him arrested.
