"Thank you for everything." Renjun smiled at Beomgyu, who was poking at the dirt surrounding him. "No problem, I don't get paid enough anyway." The Korean dusted off his dirt stained shirt and groaned as he tried to move his legs.

"You're not going to be able to move, don't try."

"Okay, okay. Farewell, love."

Renjun leaned down and kissed him one last time before picking up the shovel that lay beside the dug grave. "I'll miss you too." Beomgyu closed his eyes and relaxed his muscles as Renjun shovelled dirt into the grave, covering his nose, mouth, face, and body, burying him alive in the dead of the night. After shovelling the last of the dirt, Renjun lit a match and threw it onto the pile of dirt, watching as it extinguished itself. "I pity you, Gyu. Sacrificing your life to get me information because you loved me. Did you think I loved you? And did you think I spared your boyfriend that you were cheating on with me? You're buried on top of him, you stupid fuck." He laughed. "May you rest in a single piece, unlike your boyfriend." He stood up and walked away, leaving behind the remains of two innocent people.

-

"Beomgyu's dead. Yeonjun too." Jeno stared ahead as he put his phone back in his pocket. Mark rubbed his right eye. "He deserves it, dying at the hands of the person he betrayed us for. At least we didn't tell him everything."

"We did." Jeno groaned.

"Well shit. What can we do now? He'll get our location somehow in three days max."

"And that's why I suggest we find him first." Donghyuck bit into a piece of cheese. "We find him, then take him out. He's one man. We're twenty-two people with much more experience. If you give me the green light, I can get Shotaro to narrow down his current location in a few hours, provided that Jeno and Jaemin can describe what kind of places he might go to."

"Do it. We need to keep him in sight."

-

"I find it funny." Renjun traced a finger over the jawline of the waitress. "How you're willing to pleasure me even if I'm not interested. I don't even know your name." He grabbed her neck, tightening his grip until her feet stopped shaking, until her hands stopped clawing at his chest, when her eyes rolled to the back of her head. He tossed her onto the floor, chuckling when he saw the ring glinting on her finger in the light. "What is it with taken people and going after what society calls a psychopath?"

He shoved his hands in his pockets as he walked out of the restaurant, smiling at the other employees, clueless that their co-worker had been strangled less than a minute ago. He looked around the streets. Children talking to their friends, a girl kissing her girlfriend on the cheek, elderly couples holding hands. Everyone was peaceful, and they would remain that way. It was impossible for Renjun to get arrested in this country, considering that they were already familiar with his background and didn't want to get involved with anything. The people he had killed would simply be labelled as 'suicide' or 'accident' or they would make up a medical condition in their autopsy report, and never disclose it to the public.

His stop for the night was a hotel, in which he got a room and took a long hot shower. When he decided that it was time for him to go to sleep, he walked over to his bag, and pulled two shirts out of it. A white one that smelled like Jaemin, and a black turtleneck that Jeno wore often.

He gripped both shirts and smiled, his shoulders shaking as he let out sobs of a feeling he couldn't understand. Tears ran down his face as he put the shirts on the pillows that the hotel provided and lay himself between both pillows. He cried himself to sleep that night, not knowing why, and dreading his theory of the feeling's origin.

I don't want to kill you. In the month that I've known you, I've done nothing but fall for you. I'm sorry, but everything's just moving too fast.
