Opposites Attract- Marellinh

"Wow," Marella said as Linh came striding down the steps of Tiergan's house, where she offered to pick her up for their date. Marella wanted to take her to the annual Foxfire Ball, as her date, even though she knew they'd end up with the entire group. But hey, maybe just maybe, they'd all actually pair off! Keefe and Sophie were very lovey-dovey, so they'd want some alone time, Biana and Dex have yet to kiss, but Marella had a bet with Tam that they would tonight, and Tam and Fitz were constantly covered in shadows making out. Maybe Marella actually had a chance to get alone time with Linh, like she had been longing to do for a while.

Linh:

Marella:

"Do I look okay?", Linh asked as she got to the bottom of the steps. "You look absolutely stunning Linh, I can't believe you actually said yes," Marella admitted. "Well, I can't believe you asked," Linh muttered shyly.

Once they got to the Foxfire ballroom, they immediately found the others, and this is what they all wore:

(Its very obvious that they all look extremely hot and it's not fair ;-;)

"Hey!", Keefe exclaimed when he saw Marella and Linh, "is it just me, or are we all hotter than normal?". It was true, they'd done more to look good. Biana had given Linh an extremely intricate bun, braided her own hair, and given Sophie a braid crown and curls, plus, she'd given them all makeup to match their outfits. (idk makeup so y'all can just use your own minds for that one lol) "Yeah," Fitz responded, "we definitely look hot." Tam just slightly smirked and shrugged, and everyone laughed. "Alright Foster, you're not off the hook for that dance! C'mon!", Keefe dragged a reluctant Sophie onto the ballroom floor, smirking at her resistance, although she had a smile on her face. "And I think you already know that we have to dance babe," Fitz said, leaving Tam a blushing mess and some of the shadows around them dissipated. Dex, Biana, Linh, and Marella all giggled at poor Tam, then Marella asked Linh to dance. She said yes, so Marella took her hand gently, but firmly and pulled her into the dance floor with her.

"You know, I've been looking forward to this for a long time," Linh said as she clasped one hand in Marella's and laid the other on the taller girl's hip. Marella met her small hand with a larger one, and placed her other carefully on her hip. "Yeah?", Marella asked, getting a nod from Linh, "so have I." The two girls may have been completely different in all forms, but as they said: "opposites attract". For the rest of the night, Marella and Linh talked and danced until their final dance of the night where Linh rested her head on Marella's shoulder and asked her if she wanted to be her girlfriend. Marella said yes, gently as to not spook her off, and laid her own head on Linh's.
