10:00 P.M
I rushed through my homework trying to finish the last couple sentences for my English essay. Stupid essay for school. I don't need you in my life. I thought typing faster and faster with every word. Finally done! Thank God that's over! Now time for Algebra... I struggled with getting my homework done in time. I usually take naps in the afternoon after I get home from school. So I end up finishing my homework at around 1 in the morning. Honestly, I could care less about my homework. I know I needed to do it in order to get good grades, get into a wonderful college, get a good job, and finally to fit into this crazy, messed up society of ours. We spend so much time worrying about our future and wasting time in our present. The real question is not what job will you have to achieve the ultimate goal of fitting in, but how do you know that you will even make it that far? How do you know that you won't walk outside one day and accidentally get hit by a drunk driver? How do you know that one day you will be alive to see your grandchildren. You don't know, I don't know, we don't know. In this world, at this time, I'm sad to announce that there are numerous ways of achieving death.
*buzz buzz*
My phone knocked me out of my mind trap and back to the reality of the world. I picked up my galaxy note 3, and unlocked it. At the time it was 1 in then morning. I had completely lost track of time. I looked near to the bottom of my screen and there it was. A little number one poking out of my texting icon. Who would text me at 1 in the morning? I opened the text. It was from a number I wasn't familiar with. That's strange...
"Dear Elise,
It is a great honor to tell you that you have been invited to one of the best schools on the planet. The leaders of the School of Special Arts (S.o.S.A) have seen your work, and have decided that having you as a student would be a wonderful addition to our school. Sadly you have to take us up on the offer immediately, or else we will be forced to withdraw our invitation. Choose wisely Elise. We are all looking forward to seeing you!
Signed
Mr.Dun"
I stared blankly at the text in front of me. Confused, I slowly put my phone on my desk and sat down on my bed. I put my head in my hands.
"What am I gonna do?"
