"Kim just pick the dark pink, the shit is cute and it'll go good with ya skin" Kimberly or kim was my bitch, my best friend, my ride or die, my everything.

We were getting our nails done for this lil club we was going to tonight

"keisha, this shit is ugly and it don't match my skin color." she said turning around walking back towards me

Kim was insecure as they say, she hated her skin color and the way she looked but I loved it

I patted the chair beside me "sit down, the pink is pretty and it does match your skin, so you are getting it on your nails and toes" I said patting her leg

"fine" she mumbled pulling her wallet out of her pocketbook

"uh what you think you doing?" I said looking at her confused, I hope she didn't think she was paying?

"paying for my nails" she said pulling out a $20 bill

I grabbed it stuffing it in her bag, "im paying, I invited you out so im paying, simple so sit down and let shanda do you up" I said laying my head back against my chair

she huffed and sat back putting her feet in the water

"so, this club.. what's going down tonight?" I asked looking over towards her

"it's ladies night, we get in free they got drinks, chronic, music and everything we like" she said

"I smoke cigarettes, not chronic" I said running my hands through my long pony tail

"well you need to stop, chronic is better for you" she said giving one of the workers her hand for her to apply the polish to her nails

"i'll think about it" I said looking at my now finished toes

I looked at my watch it was going on 4pm

we still had to shop for our clothes for the club and I still had to do her hair.

"can you hurry up please, we got shit to do and sitting here isn't one of them" I said rudely to the lady doing her nails

Shanda was finished with her toes, "Stop, im sorry for my friend she got no filter" kim said shaking her head at the lady

"kim.. we got other shit to do" I said looking at her

"5 minutes" the nail lady said getting out a white color and a paint brush for her designs

"ok" I said getting up putting a pair of sandals on

I walked over to the desk to pay for our nails and toes

"hey girl" Lisa said to me as she stood up walking to the cash register

"hey" I said getting her a thin smile

Lisa was a nice girl kinda like Kim but Kim had a bitch side to her, whereas I was a bitch 24/7 we all used to be close until Lisa slept with Kim's ex-boyfriend Tony

"how you been?" she asked me playing with her purple nails

"cut the chit chat, can I pay now" I said pulling out the credit card my father gave me

"yeah" she said making a face I outta beat this bitch in her face

"ok so your total is $80" she said I nodded and swiped the card hearing a beep

she handed me the receipt and I turned around waiting for Kim to put her sandals on

she finally got up and walked towards me "thank you" she said fixing her braids I nodded and we walked out the salon after grabbing some pieces of candy

"what that bitch lisa say to you?" she asked as we started to walk down the strip

I pulled out a cigarette and handed it to her, then grabbed me one

I lit them up and then answered her question "She was tryna be all buddy buddy with me, knowing damn well I don't fuck with her after what she did" I said blowing out the smoke

She blew out hers and looked towards me "She know damn well, we should've beat that bitch" she said making me nod looking around for a store we could go into

"Lets look in Tommy Hilfiger" she said pointing to the store across the street

I nodded and we walked across the streets

Someone honked their horn we turned to the left and stuck up out middle fingers up at the bmw

the window rolled down and this darkskinned man stuck his head out the window

"get y'all young asses out the road" he yelled driving off

"fuck you" she yelled as we made it across the street walking into the store
