"Okayyy......but why didn't you tell me he was FINE!" I exaggerated.
"Oh calm down, he's alright" Nisha playfully hit my arm.
"ALRIGHT! The man looks like he came straight from heaven"
"Girl shut up" I smile as we drive off.

*15 minutes later.

"Granny I'm home and I gotta surprised for you" Nisha said smiling
"You better have those potatoes and not forgot like-
Liyah" she says with a shocked face

She pulled me into a tight hug for about five minutes. I had to pull her off because I couldn't breathe.

"Wait a minute- why didn't you tell me you were coming, I could have cooked your favorite meal"

"Although, I love your meatloaf, we can cook it another time. I just wanted to surprise you"

"Well how long you staying?" She says curiously.

"The whole summer, I just really needed a break" I said sitting down."

"Well you know we love to have you around" I smile.

"So granny tell me about this Michael fella" while smirking at Nisha.

"Him and his family moved to town a year ago, and he was looking for work. Nisha and me seen him at the market and he was asking folks do they need work done on their farms. So when we both walked out the store, we asked him and he was so happy. From that day on, he's been helping out everybody in town with their cars, farms and moving things around"

"Oh so he's a family man" I smirk

"Yeah he sure does. He takes care of his grandmother and little sister. They lost their mother about three years ago and the town they were living in was bad, so he wanted something better for his sister".

"I like him already"

"Well y'all two better go wash up, I'm almost with dinner"

"Alright, I'm about to go lay down for awhile" as I walk to my old bedroom.
I haven't been here in years. Do I get bigger or did the room get smaller. Of course I got bigger, all I do is eat Oreos and wine. I giggled.

Well looks who's FaceTiming me. Oh Andrew.

"Wassup girly, how's everything"
"It's good....well really good"
"What do you mean" as he raises his eyebrows.
"Well there's a new hottie in town and he's working on my granny's farm"
"I need a number or sum, how fine is he"
"Like Brad Pitt and Idris Elba, had a love child"
"Oh wow- I gotta see this. I wonder does he have a-"
"Don't make me call chase and tell him your thinking about another man"
"Please don't, he's already been getting on my nerves"
"What happened now" I said rolling my eyes.
"Long story, I'll tell when you get back" he got quiet.
"Oh okay then, just make sure you take care of my baby"
"This is not my first time watching Liyah's Treats, everything will be fine."
"If you say so. Well I'll talk to you later, love ya."
"Bye love you too"

I went right to sleep after that. I must've been really tired, because I didn't even get to eat dinner. It was already morning.

I get up and take a shower, throw on a quick little outfit and go to the kitchen. Granny was in there but Nisha was gone, I'm pretty sure she's already with her friends.

"Good morning" I tell my granny as I fixed me a plate of breakfast.
"Morning, so what you plan on doing today"
"Probably go walk the town a little and visit some friends"
I finish my plate and rinse it off.
"Well before you do, you mind taking Michael some coffee, his cup is right their"
"Okay" I say as I fill it up and buy milk and sugar in it.
I walk out the door and to the back of the house we're the barn is, and their he is. Those same blue jeans and his shirt off. I couldn't do nothing but gawk. He was so freaking handsome! I've been in New York for awhile and I have never seen anyone like him before. I eventually stop staring and walked  up to.

"Hi Michael, my granny told me you wanted some coffee"
"Thank you" he smiles "so what's a city girl like you doing out here in the country" he say quiet but still confident.
I giggle.
"Oh Honey, best believe I'm the most country person you'll ever meet. I just needed something new in my life, so I moved somewhere I know my dreams can come true."
He laughs at the fact that I used a little country accent.
"That's good, not a lot of people from small towns, get to make their dreams come true"
"Yeah I'm truly blessed"
It gets quiet and we just stare at each other.
"What about you, do you have a dream!"
He turns around.
"I think I should get back to work" he says as he picks up some hay and carries it outside the barn.
"I didn't mean to offend you.."
"No it's okay, I'll see you around" he smiles
"Okay then bye"
We both went our separate ways.
