I open my eyes to a extremely bright light forcing me to close them back instantly "I see your awake " said a voice I opened my eyes slightly to see who and I was shocked to see joan kneeling over me, "barely " I said in an almost inaudible voice I was completely drained of energy from the last time I was awake, I attempted to get up but blood instantly started to leak from my chest which i realized now had a cloth tightly wrapped around it I also realized that I still looked strange from my wierd experience last night I knew a day had passed because the sun was just coming up, wait does that mean that joan watched me all night I pushed the disturbing tought of her watching me in the night out of my head "what are you doing here and while we're on that topic where is here " I said wincing in pain with every word "that's all, no thanks for bandaging your wounds or taking you away from the creeks or even the lurkers " she said like she had expected me to just wake up and say "holy crap!!!! I don't know what a lurker or creek is but thanks for saving me " I had no idea what joan was saying but it seemed important so I replied saying "what's a lurker " "geez didn't they tell you anything " she replied and took a deep breath so I knew that this was going to be a long story.

"Lurker's " she began "are basically soul suckers who feed on human souls they're everyone's enemy no ones friend and no one's ally not even among they're own they eat all souls except guardians they have extreme agility and attacking them without knowledge will be your death ",I took this all in that must mean the pale dude was a lurker and me and joan attacked without knowledge, I never realized how lucky I was until now "and about creek's " continued joan "they are pretty much werewolves but much more powerful and they're always in wolf form but with a little human in the mix. there's different types but the only one's I know are phsycic and warriors " even after all this information there's one thing I still don't understand "how does this tie in with the dissapearance's " I said to joan "isn't it obvious "she said "the lurker's are kidnapping people and eating there're soul's " boy joan sure learned alot since I left for the concert I got up and said "well we better tell seargeant "

"No way " she said getting up too "he didn't even believe when we told him about that one guy he'll give us a one way ticket to the insane asylum " as much as I hate to admit it she was right and it doesn't exactly sound appealing to be thrown in a insane asylum "then what do you suppose we do " I said to her and for a second she lost that confident look that was always plastered to her face but that was just for a second it returned almost immediately and along with it came her reply "we visit the creek's " I was about to object with every ounce of strength I had when a voice said "if you need any help we could lead you to them " and a purple haired female creek stepped out of the bushes "who are you " I said and positioned myself to fight, " I am not your enemy " she said putting her hands up "I am here to help with your alliance to the creek's " I wanted to run but she didn't seem dangerous plus I wanted to learn more about this alliance thing "what alliance " I said still suspicious "your alliance to the creek's you have been chosen from an group of people to become a creek and help us fight off the ever growing threat of lurker's unfortunately they learned about it and tried to eliminate you but in the end you lived and now it's time to complete your alliance " the information I was just given explained so much that I actually had my head out of the depth of confusion it was in recently, I sat back down beside joan who was scribbling something down in a notebook "so"continued the female creek "do you want to complete the alliance, do you want to become a creek that will go down in the history books as a legend " she said as she bent down to my level and outstretched her arm i was about to agree to whatever alliance thing that she was proposing but as soon as soon as i put out my hand to shake hers a loud voice yelled" there they are "and about ten figures sprinted for us the creek's attention immediately snapped to joan as she said" get on my back " joan was about to object until she took a look at our enemies "what about me!"
