1. How do you feel being a winner of the Love Story Awards?
I'm still not over the shock. I never thought my book will be qualified in the former rounds and now I'm here crying that my book! Like really 'my' book won second place.
2. Give me a brief summary of your book. Just something to entice the readers;-)
My story revolves around life of Hope and Ethan. With Hope suffering from depression and Ethan suffering from Dilated cardiomyopathy, how they both meet and how sparks between them fly. (That was quite cliché line, wasn't it?)
Kinda,lol.
3.What inspired you to start writing and when did you begin?
I discovered my writing skills during lockdown. Instead of getting bored with online classes, I tried something new, something exciting and I love it.
4. Do you see yourself becoming a professional author ?
To be honest, I don't know. Writing is just a hobby which I discovered recently. Although, I do have a dream of having a paper back book of mine, there's still a long way.
5. Are you writing under a penname?
No. At first I thought writing under one but my poor brain made me change my decision.
6. Who are your favourite authors? Both wattpad and otherwise?
Outside Wattpad there are many! Durjoy Dutta, Rabinder Singh, John Green, the list is long. On Wattpad, Siddhi Kaddam is the one whom I adore so much. Just reading her stories changes my mood, she's absolutely talented and knows how to weave words.
7. Did they inspire you?
Yes, they do. Infact a lot. Idk they have some magic in them that always push me to match their level. To live in the world of imagination and words.
8. What, personally, do you think sets Wattpad apart from other writing platforms?
I think the facility of interaction between the author and the readers sets Wattpad apart from other writing platforms. Here, readers can opening voice their opinions about stories which also helps authors to improve themselves.
9. What is number one on your list when looking for a new book to read?
Plot! And of course cover! I need the plot up to my expectations and cover also matters.
10.Do you have a specific genre you love to write or read?
Romance! It's my all time favorite. I can read all other genres like fantasy, myself but it has to have romance somewhere in it. Coz I'm a sucker for romance.
11. What is one thing your readers do that light up your day?
Their comments. I just love their beautiful and heartwarming comments which every damn time motivate me when I feel down.
12. Besides writing, what else do you love to do?
Besides writing, I love to paint and design graphics.
13. What is the one thing you love most in life?
Myself. Yes, I love my family, my friends but I love myself more.
14. Is there any thing you would like to tell any aspiring authors reading this?
Don't let less reads and votes demotivate you. I said don't! I know the pain and I also know these two can let you down. But believe me, ur every hardwork will pay one day and to find that 'one day' push urself everyday.
