6. The Expedition (Pt. 3 Final Part)

(Armins POV)

I'm staring at the ocean admiring the view and forgetting why we're here in the first place. "ARLERT! Focus on why we are here" Captain Levi orders me. "Y-yes sir!" I yell back as I salute. We continue searching around but only find false or miss-leading evidence. "GUYS! THERES FOOT PRINTS OVER HERE!" I hear Sasha yell. We then proceed to follow the footprints.

As we are walking down the shore line, we notice the foot prints go off track from where we thought they were leading us to. 'I wonder where this could lead us to?' I thought to myself.

As we continue to follow these footprints, we notice we are heading into the forest. "Springer, Shoot a purple flare. Commander told us to remember this. Green Is notifying them that we found something. Red means that there is a Titan. Black still means an abnormal. And purple means we need them to meet us. We then shoot a yellow flare to notify the other squads of our position so that they can come to us knowing we are not moving an inch." Captain says. "Y-yes sir!" I reply shooting up a purple flare.

"What did you guy's find that's so important you needed to call all of the squads to round up way out here? We still haven't found Yeager!" Commander Erwin says. "Well s-sir, We found some footprints by the newly found ocean. We continued to follow them but they lead us off track. We proceeded to follow them and found a cave about 20 metres up ahead. Captain Levi figured that we should notify everyone because this could lead us to Eren and or his where abouts." I responded. Commander Erwin just nodded his head signaling everyone to get back on their horses and continue following the tracks.

As we halted our horses at the front of the cave everyone was silent not knowing what we would find in there. Everyone knew how much Eren loved Y/n, You could see it in his eyes. I mean yea we all loved her but for him it was.....different....

"Levi squad, proceed into the cave. Hanji's squad will follow behind after me then so on and so on." Commander Erwin orders. "Yes sir!" We all salute.

As we walk into the cave we smell food. "Ahhh so that damn brat stole food thinking we wouldnt fin- oh god...." Captain Levi scoffs. "W-what is it C-Captain?....." I ask. "Well Arlert, You have a note that you have to read to everyone..." Captain Levi commands me. "Y-yes sir!" I say, worried about what it might say.

Everyone walks out of the cave, leading their horses with the lead-ropes attached to them. "okay, Arlert go ahead and read it when everyone sits down. EVERYONE NO TALKING UNTIL ARLERT IS DONE!" Captain Levi says making everyone shut up. I nod my head and lead my horse to the top of the circle where everyone is readying them selves and their horses.

"Okay, H-here I go....." I say as I start reading the note aloud.

Dear survey corps

If you are reading this, it means that I Eren Yeager has drowned in the ocean that you found on the way here.

I just wanted to say i'm sorry for stealing that potato and water, I just wanted to have a completely full stomach before I died.

Mikasa~ I am so sorry for always stealing your scarf when I got cold..

Connie~ I'm sorry for always calling you 'Baldies Basics'

Sasha~ I'm sorry if I got you in trouble when we were in the trainee corps and i'm sorry for always calling you potato girl..

Reiner~ I'm sorry for always making it seem like I was the bigger man when truly, You always were.

Bertolt~ I'm sorry for telling you that you looked like the Colossal Titan, I was just jealous for how close you were with Y/n....

Ymir~ I'm sorry for always calling you a lesbo and asking you inappropriate questions..

Christa~ I'm sorry for always making fun of you for liking Ymir and Reiner..

Jean~ I'm sorry for calling you horse face.. Please bring Y/n back and take good care of her even though I know bringing someone back from the dead is scientifically impossible

Squad Leader Hanji~ I'm sorry for always telling you how you would probably marry a Titan and making fun of you for calling Sauny and Bean your babies.

Commander Erwin~ I'm sorry for always making fun of you for having 'big' eyebrows and im also sorry for calling you Commander Bushy Brows..

Captain Levi~ I am sorry for calling you short, I am sorry for making fun of the way that you hold your tea cup, I am sorry for not trusting our squad in the beginning, I am sorry for making fun of how you like to clean so much, and I am most deeply sorry for disrespecting you all of the time. You were the best captain and to be honest I had a crush on you starting from when I first saw you but I then realized you liked Petra Ral. Then when y/n came into our lives I could finally let go.

Now Armin I know for a fact that you will be the one reading this aloud to everyone so I just wanted to say Armin~ I am sorry for making fun of you and saying you look like a girl. I'm sorry for laughing when captain yelled at you...

Please remember that i loved you guys. and will all of you please tell Y/n that I loved her deeply and that she owned my heart. let her read this.

Y/n you were my light from the darkness, You were the key for my heart and I know that if you are reading this... You are either okay or you are in heaven with someone who can give this very letter to you.
