BLITZ'S POV:
After I finally caught up with Blaze, which took me half an hour, we had stopped to take a break. I was leaning against a nearby tree whilst Blaze was sitting on a log, seemingly lost in thought.
Blitz: So.....what you thinking about?
Blaze: That's none of your concern.
I raised my hands in defense.
Blitz: Alright, alright.
And so the silence continues.......until 3 seconds later.
Blaze: How do you know Eggman?
Blitz: Hmm?
Blaze: It's obvious you two know each other, possibly on a personal level.
Damn..... she's right. What do I say, WHAT DO I SAY!?
Blitz: U-Um.....We......um......
Blaze: Were you two...... y'know....?
Blitz: What?........OH NONONONO!! I do NOT swing that way! That is just wrong on SOOO many levels *shudders*
I coulda sworn I saw Blaze give me a smug smirk.
Blaze: Then how do you two know each other?
Blitz: *sighs* We were good friends, that's all I'm willing to say at the moment.
Blaze: Alright then.
A slight rustling sound was abruptly heard nearby. Me and Blaze stood in out battle stances, ready for anything.....

......it was Cream and Cheese.
Cheese: Chao Chao!!!!
Cream: BLITZ!!!
Cream tackled me into the ground in a crushing hug.
Blitz: HOLD ON!!...... can't........BREATHE!!!!!
Cream: Oops. Sorry, Blitz.
She let me go as I gasped for air.
Cream: This forest was just really scaring me, and when I found you guys, I was so happy to see you.
Blitz: What are you even doing here?
Cream looked down, seemingly guilty.
Cream: I left home cause I wanted to help you both find those.....uh.....Solar Emerald thingies.
Blaze: It's actually pronounced "Sol" Emeralds.
Cream: Oh, my bad.
Cheese: Chao!
Blitz: Ugh......*mutters* great,now I gotta baby-sit. *Out loud* Alright, since we're not turning back the way we came, you might as well come along. Judging from where Eggman flew off, he went towards Mirage Road.
I then realized something. I NEVER CALLED AERO!!!
Blitz: Uhhh......Cream?
Cream: Yeah?
Blitz: Did your mom call Aero about covering for me in Carnival City?
Cream: No, why?
A loud scream of panic was heard across Mobius that moment.
I frantically pulled out my mobile communicator as I dialed Aero's number. Fortunately, he picked up.
Aero: Hello?
Blitz: Hey, Aero! I forgot to call and say-
Aero: That I have to cover for you while you're gone? Yeah, I know. You forget, this ain't the first time you've gone out to do something.
Blitz: Oh thank God.
Aero: You're welcome.
Blitz: Oh haha. Anyways, see ya.
I hung up.
Blitz: Alright, let's go. Off to Mirage Road!
