28. rectify

How Dino ended up with Hoshi, that night.

"Im booked and busy. Adios chingus." Hoshi said.

"What do u mean booked and busy?" Jun whines.

"I'll eat outside without the two of u, im tired being the third wheeler in everything." Hoshi replied.

"Duh, go home. Jeonghan and Joshua hyung must felt weird of u staying here for such a long time." Jun said.

"Even i went to ur house to study but here u are finishing my food and snacks with Jeon Wonwoo." He added.

"Hey, be grateful we are here." Wonwoo stated.

"I'll get going, see yall later." Hoshi replied as he headed out.

He dont know why but he felt that he missed Jihoon a little more that day. Not that Jihoon didnt reach out to him. He did, every single day without failed.

Hoshi would woke up to tons of messages, Jihoon's apologizing, Jihoon's Good Morning wishes, Jihoon's wake up routine. It felt like a spam from an email or a shopping app but Hoshi enjoyed reading texts Jihoon sent.

Jihoon did that everyday, not just after the fight they had. And that's what Hoshi meant by the world not seeing how sweet and delicate Jihoon is to him.

Tho sometimes Jihoon being Jihoon, not caring about others but when it comes to Hoshi and his friends, Jihoon would do anything for them.

"Oh channie?" Hoshi said seeing Dino approaching him.

"U waited long, hyung?"

"Nah, i just reach here. Come let's eat."

Hoshi enjoyed Dino's company, well obviously not just Chan but the whole Jihoon's squad.

"U wanna ask about how Uji hyung has been doing?" Dino said.

Hoshi choked on his water, that got Dino laughs.

Dino laughs is the best in the world, it could lift anyone's mood who heard it.

"He's been doing... hm.. how i must say.." Dino paused.

"Not good, but not bad too. Like he cant function, but he still talk abt u. Sometimes he zoned out but he's still studying." He added.

"U think- um..."

"Its okay to forgive him? Well, im not at the place to talk abt that but if u think its fine, then... why dont u do it? Reconcile, talk nicely abt things that makes u felt uncomfortable. Uji hyung is not a mind reader tho or some psychic and so do u." Dino said.

His words got Hoshi thinking deep. Its obvious that what he said was right, Jihoon is not a mind reader so of course he wouldnt know things if no one told him.

"Are u perhaps possessed by an oldie? Cause what u said sounds so mature." Hoshi laughs.

"Learn it from the best, coups hyung, jihoon hyung, mingyu hyung, eissa hyung, seokmin hyung, seungkwan hyung.... i should just say the hyungs." Dino giggles.

Then the two proceeds chatting with the things they passionate about, dancing. Without realizing how time goes by.

The two then said goodbye to each other. Never have Hoshi ever thought he'll talk with Dino about Jihoon. However, talking with Dino is such a relief. Dino is very mature for his age and such a reliable kid.

With a heavy steps, he walk towards Jun's place. Obviously he missed his own bed but he dont want Joshua and Jeonghan to know about his love quarrel and Jun's place is a place Jihoon would never know which equals to Jihoon not coming to where he is.

He could just forgive Jihoon, he could just say "It's fine, it's okay" but he also has feelings and it's not just supposed to be him that should fight for that relationship.

Hoshi let out a sigh, brush his hair upwards thinking about how he should make things right. Jihoon have always tried so he think its time to talk things with Jihoon too, as what Dino adviced.

He enters Jun's house feeling something weird. He dont know whats that is but he just felt it.

And his feelings were right. He saw Jihoon sitting beside Wonwoo on the couch.

He rub his eyes thinking he might be seeing things as he missed Jihoon a little bit more that day. He closes his eyes and take a deep breathe, "Kwon Soonyoung, relax. Stop seeing things."

"Kwon Soonyoung, u are not seeing things. He is really here." Wonwoo laughs.
