I have denied you. I have rejected
you. I looked to everything except you.
I don't want your help. I am infected
with sin. I feel comfortable here, with who?
No one. I'm alone. Drowning in sadness.
I tried to look to you God, but the world
pulled me back down; and I let it. Goodness.
God you are good. I need to be unfurled
in order to get caught in your wave of
love and grace once again. It won't be easy.
Pleading. Mend my broken heart, send me love
and your people to take this and ease me.
You are here. You never left. I was blind.
I see that now. Our love is now entwined.
