"Told you, she was looking for someone." Giselle smirked.
My body felt numb while I sit on a chair. I am completely frozen and I don't know why. Maybe because of the stare?
"Hey, you okay?" Mina worriedly asked when she noticed that I am not moving.
"Yeah, I'm fine." I answered as I reach out for the glass of water in front of me.
"Hey, I'm already starving. Let's get some food." Yuna suggested and we all agreed.
We fell in line with the other students and waited for our turn.
When we finished, we went back to our table and enjoy our food.
We were in the middle of eating when Son Chaeyoung of class b joined us. She sat beside Mina.
"Hey, babe." Chae smiled at Mina whose face is now like a tomato.
"Ew, don't flirt in front of me!" Yuna annoyingly said. "I don't want to see couples right now."
"You know it's prom tonight, right? That means you'll see couples dancing later. Get used to it."
The upbeat music stopped and was replaced with a cringy love song.

"Ooh, my favorite song." Yuqi said. "We were both young when I first saw you~"
Yuqi continued to sing along. Mina and Chaeyoung are now dancing in the middle with other couples around them. Giselle sang along with Yuqi. And Yuna is still enjoying her food.
I yawned. This is starting to get boring.
Yuqi and Giselle stopped singing. I quickly looked at them out of confusion.
"Pst, Y/N look" Yuqi whispered while carefully pointing at a man walking towards our table, making sure he doesn't realize we're talking about him.
I choked. Why is he walking towards us???!!
A hand entered my sight and I slowly looked at the man.
"Hey, I saw you a while ago. Mind if you dance with me?" Jungwon's soft voice tickled my ear.
I stared at him for a few seconds before answering. "Yes- I mean no." WHY DID YOU STUTTERED, SELF?? "N-no. Sorry."
He pouted. I can feel my cheeks burning so I looked away. All I heard was a sigh then his foot steps moving away from us.
"Girl, why did you denied?!" Giselle shouted at me, disappointed.
"You know, girls would've wished they were in your position right now." Yuqi shook her head out of disappointment as well.
