unforgettable summer

• chapter 6 •

Kara POV
I woke up with the clothes i had on from last night . I probably just went to sleep as soon as I got home . I picked up my phone from my bedside table and it was full with texts from Shawn .

Shawn : Kara I'm so sorry I love you so much I was so dumb and drunk
Shawn : Kara please I'm sorry
Shawn : I'm sorry please Kara give me another chance
Shawn : Kara please
Shawn : I love you please Kara
Shawn : I fucked up I know I'm sorry though Kara please
Shawn : I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry
Shawn : please Kara my heart is breaking
Shawn : Kara please ... I love you .

That last one felt like a punch in the heart . It felt like someone took a knife and just stabbed it right through my heart . I couldn't text back so I just left them read . I got up from my bed and I went to the mirror bathroom and there was dry year stains below my eyes and on my cheeks and my eyes were red . Hopefully a shower will help .

Kara got my towel from the cabinet in the bathroom and got in the shower . Kara finished up washing her hair and washing myself and with her shower than she got out and wrapped her towel around her . She walked back out to her room . There was even more texts from Shawn . Kara ignored the texts . She got dressed in her outfit of the day . She had A foley white tank top with blue jeans and her brown boots . She grabbed her phone and her purse just in case . She out her hair up in a ponytail and brushed her teeth and put deodorant on and than headed downstairs . For some reason no one was home . She grabbed her keys and just drove . She didn't know where she was going but she just drove . At one point she really didn't know where she was but she saw a Starbucks and pulled over to get a drink . She got a drink and left the building . By that time it was getting dark . She started walking to her car and GPS where she was and drove home . Kara finally got home and than went inside her house . She locked the door and closed all of her blinds and made sure every door was locked . She hated being by herself . She decided to go change into her jogging clothes and go waking . She got changed and got her phone . She locked the door and started walking . Kara didn't exactly know where she was going but she was just jogging . While she was jogging she heard noises behind her . Maybe it's just a squirrel or a cat or something she thought . So she kept jogging . Than she heard footsteps behind her . She felt like someone was following her . She looked back and saw to figures following her . She started to run . The figures chased after her . Sooner or later she could not run anymore and she looked back and did not see the figures . A wave of relief came through her . As Kara turned around she saw the two figures standing in front of her . She tried to scream but than everything went dark .........

Kara woke up in her room at her house tied up .

Kara POV (thoughts)
geez what happened ? why am I tied up ? where is the two guys ? Oh my god I hear footsteps down the hallway . Jesus help me ...

End of POV

2 guys walked in her room one was really tall and one was kind of medium height . They had scary animal masks on so Kara couldn't see you who they were . The tall guy untied her and the medium guy grabbed her wrists and took her to the backyard and pulled out a gun ... and shot Kara .

Kara suddenly opened her eyes . Relief went through her body when she just realized it was a dream . She looked at her phone though and sadly the spams from Shawn were real and there . There was a new voicemail on there . It said ...

"Hey ... look kara I'm so sorry please forgive me . Please . Your my everything . Back in Canada I used to get bullied and get beat up and no one even thought of being my girlfriend but than i met you and you were the most beautiful girl I've ever laid my eyes on . You made me feel like someone and not a no one . Please Kara I love you so much please give me another chance ... please ."

and that was the end of the voicemail .

Kara decided to finally text Shawn back

Kara : Hey ...
Shawn : Oh my god Kara thank you for texting me back thank you so much
Kara : ya ... your welcome ... can we meet somewhere ?
Shawn : yes definitely of course
Kara : Okay ... What about the Starbucks around my house ...
Shawn : Okay see you there in like 5 min

Kara put her hair in a messy braid , she wore her tie dye shirt and her grey sweats and drove over to Starbucks . She got there early so she could get a drink . A couple minutes after Shawn walked through the door . Kara felt the urge to get up and hug him but she didn't . Shawn sat down at the table with Kara and began to talk . Shawn spilled all his feelings out on the table . Kara could see his eyes start to water .

"Kara I'm so sorry . Please Kara ... forgive me ... your my everything I was drunk that night and I wasn't thinking and I'm sorry please Kara" Shawn cried .

Kara got up from her chair as so did Shawn . She couldn't fight the urge anymore ... Kara gave Shawn a big hug . She grabbed both of his hands and intertwined there fingers .

"It's okay ... I forgive you Shawn ." Kara said to Shawn .

Shawn's face grew a smile . He kissed Kara on the forehead like he always does .

"Thank you ." Shawn said .

Still holding hands they walked out of the Starbucks happily back together .
