• chapter 5 •

Kara's POV
I woke up wrapped in Shawn's arms . I liked being there . In his arms ..... safe and sound . I lay my head on his chest I can hear his sweet heartbeat . I try to fall asleep again but I cant ... his face is just so beautiful and I love looking at it . His cheek bones , his jawline , his well .... EVERYTHING . He begins to open his eyes and our eyes meet .

"Hello beautiful" Shawn passionately said to Kara

"Hey" Kara said as she smirked

"Your snore was adorable last night when you fell asleep aha" Shawn said with a smirk

"Omg ew I snored" Kara laughed .

Shawn took a piece of hair and put it behind Kara's ear . He softly caressed her cheek and pulled her into a kiss . They were interrupted by a text . It was for Kara and it was from Cameron .

Cameron : Heyyyy I'm having a big party tonight you and Shawn can come if you guys want !

"baby did you want to go to Cameron's party tonight ?" Kara asked Shawn .

"if it's good with you I'm down" Shawn replied .

Kara : we'll be there 💞

Cameron : Cool it's starts @ 8pm kk see you there ✌️

Kara put her phone down on the bedside table . They both got up from bed and sat up . She turned back and there Shawn was . Beautiful as ever she thought to herself . Shawn kissed her forehead and said ...

"Kara we might be rushing into this but I love you ... I love you so much ... I love you so much that I could give up eating muffins for the rest of my life aha . Kara Lynn I love you . Don't EVER forget that ... and if you need me to remind you every single day at every sing hour or even minute that I love you I'll do it okay ?" Shawn preached .

Kara pulled Shawn into a big romantic kiss . Shawn's mom walked in as they were kissing . Kara saw her from the corner of her eye and pulled away from the kiss .

Shawn : Mom this is why I tell you to knock ...

Shawn's mom giggled

"aha you guys are cute ... well I made breakfast for everyone down stairs ." Karen ( Shawn's mom) explained .

They both got up and Kara reached for Shawn's hand and Shawn grabbed Kara's hand tight and they walked downstairs making sure not to unlock hands . Aaliyah was already sitting at the table half asleep . Shawn pulled out a chair for Kara . They began to eat .

"Mom me and Kara got invited to a party tonight can we go ?" Shawn asked his mom .

"Of course if it's fine with Kara's dad" Karen explained .

Kara called her dad and be said yes .

When they were done eating Kara looked at her phone and thought surprisingly it was already 4:00 pm . They got up and started to get ready for the party . Kara got in the shower and was in there singing along to Hoodie Allen's new song All About It . Shawn laughed . She got got out and than Shawn got in and after that they got dressed , brushed their teeth , did their hair ( Kara curled her hair ) , put cologne on and perfume on and they were ready to go . By that time it was 7:30 and they were ready . Kara had on a slim fitting black dress with black pumps on . Shawn had his white t shirt on with his jeans and his black dress shoes . They got Shawn's keys and than said goodbye and than left . It took them 5 min to get to Cameron's house since it's only a few blocks down . When they pulled out they could already feel the vibration of the music coming from inside . Kara grabbed Shawn's arm and they walked through the door . Cameron ran up to Kara and gave her a hug and Skate was beside Cameron with his arm around her waist . They showed them around the house since it was a 3 story house and than back downstairs where the party was at .

"Enjoy guys" Cameron told them as her and Skate walked off .

Shawn and Kara started to dance their hearts out . Twirling and smiling and kissing as they go . Shawn eventually is tired out and goes and gets a drink with Kara . While they were getting something to drink they saw a group of people walk through the door . Kara didn't know who they were at first but than she looked closer . It was Victoria and Maddie and Jack and Hayes . Kara's jaw dropped . She quickly grabbed Shawn's hand and pulled him along as she ran to find Cameron . She finally found Cameron in one of the rooms which Kara thought was the pool table and gaming room was .

"Cameron ! Why did you invite The whole bitch group ?!" Kara said worriedly

"Wait wait wait ... Who are we talking about ?" Cameron asked .

"Victoria , Maddie , Hayes , Jack" Kara told Cameron .

"I didn't invite them ... they just showed up ?!" Cameron said angrily .

All 3 of them marched outside into the living room and there they were laughing and dancing . Cameron marched up to Victoria and her group .

"Ummmmmmm excuse me who invited you ?" Cameron asked irritatingly .

"We invited ourselves ... you have a problem with that ?" Victoria said .

"Ya I do actually soo can you leave ?" Cameron asked irritatedly .

"If you make us go I will tell everybody your little secret ... and we don't want that getting out " Victoria smirks .

Kara looks at Cameron with shock .

"What secret ?" Kara asked .

"Nothing .... I guess you guys can stay...." Cameron mumbled .

"Great !" Victoria said as her and her group left .

Kara and Shawn and Cameron walked away .

Kara POV (thoughts)
I wonder what secret she was taking about ... I mean she tells me everything ... did she sleep with someone ? did she lie about something ? ugh idek I'm not gonna freak out over it .

Kara and Shawn drift away from Cameron . Kara and Shawn start to dance on the dance floor . They danced for what seem like hours . Than when Kara twirled and twirled back Shawn was gone . She went to go look for him . She found Cameron and asked if she's seen Shawn . She said no . Kara looked for a long time until finally Kara walked up to one of the rooms in the house and opened the door . Shawn was on the bed kissing Victoria . Kara gasped . Shawn pulled away from the kiss and Victoria looked at Kara and smirked . Kara ran out the house with tears in her eyes . Shawn ran after her . When Kara finally got outside Shawn catched up he grabbed Kara's hand . Kara turned around and slapped Shawn as hard as she could .

" I can't believe you Shawn . I trusted you with my heart ... and you just threw all of that away ? What happened to this morning about the whole trust thing and we will always love eachother ... or was that just some bullshit you were feeding me ?" Kara said with tears running down her face .

"Baby I'm sorry ... I ... I ... I" Shawn said speechlessly .

Kara could smell his breath he was drunk . Kara grew tears in her eyes and ran home as fast as she can . Shawn sat on the curb and cried his eyes out . What a dumb ass move Shawn thought to himself .
