Everyone was there . Cameron , Skate , Sammy , Naomi , and Kara were all there . They walked up to the line where you get your bowling shoes and your row numbers . Cameron saw that Kara had a slight frown on her face .

" What's wrong Kara ? Who's ass do I need to kick ? " Cameron shouted

"No ones Cameron ..... don't worry about it ." Kara sighed

"Kara you are my best friend . we have been best friends since 5th grade believe me when I say I know there's something wrong ." Cameron preached

"Cameron really nothing is wrong I promise ." Kara explained

She put on a fake smile and just tagged along with the group . She was done because again she didn't have a boyfriend like her friends . She used to date a guy named Aidan but she caught him in bed with another girl .

The group of friends walked over to their lanes . They were doing girls against boys . Kara wasn't feeling it so she went to the arcade . She sat on one of the chairs of a racing game and checked her Instagram and Twitter . Than she got up and saw a boy walk in side the arcade . She was amazed on how attractive he looked . She put a stran of hair behind her ear and walked past him . He glanced at her and winked . Kara ran back to her friends lane they were bowling in . She ran up to Sammy and Skate and dragged them to the boy but they hid behind a wall so he wouldn't see . Kara asked if they knew him .

"Oh yah that's that new kid in town . What's his name .... kawn ... rawn ?" Skate guessed

"His name is shawn . Shawn Mendes . I heard he moved from Canada to California so he could be closer to his family ." Sammy explained to Kara

Sammy and Skate walked away and went back to their lane since it was their turn to bowl . Kara's face grew a big grin . She pulled out her phone and put on the front camera to fix her hair and everything than she walked into the arcade . Shawn walked up to Kara and said "I'm sorry but I must say....you are the most beautiful girl I've ever seen ." . Kara blushed and giggled . Shawn challenged her to a race of Mario kart . Kara won the game .

"Ah I got beat by a girl aha" Shawn said jokingly

"Good game ... what's your name again ?" Kara asked ( she had to pretend she didn't know him )

"My name is shawn . What's your name ?" Shawn asked

"My name is Kara ." Kara replied

"That's a beautiful name Kara . " Shawn whispered in Kara's ear .

Kara and Shawn sat there for a good 5 seconds and were about to kiss but than got interrupted by the sound of Skates and Sammy's voice

"Oooooooooooooooooooo get it kara " Skate and Sammy joked .

"I'm sorry Shawn . These are my friends Skate , Sammy , Cameron , and Naomi ." Kara explained .

Shawn introduced himself "Hi nice to meet you guys my names Shawn ."

"Hey aren't you the new kid in town ?" Naomi asked .

"Yah I just moved here from Canada to get closer to my family ." Shawn pointed out .

"Well Shawn ... we were just gonna go get some milkshakes and food did you wanna come ?" Cameron asked .

Shawn gave Kara a look as in did you want me to come look .

"Yah Shawn you should come" Kara told Shawn .

"Okay thanks I'll join you guys" Shawn replied

They left the arcade and went to go get milkshakes and food . When the group of friends were walking all the couples stood beside eachother and than there was Kara and Shawn . Kara stared at Sammy and Naomi for a little bit and sighed slightly . Shawn saw her stressing . They got to the milkshake place . Skate and Cameron ordered a large chocolate shake with a order of fries , Naomi and Sammy ordered a caesar salad with a sprite , and than that just left Kara and Shawn . They ordered two small cookies and creme shakes .

Kara's POV
(thoughts)
Wow Shawn is soooooooo hot like wow I think I'm in love already . When the food came everyone was being all lovey again Naomi and Sammy were grinning and feeding eachother salad . Skate dipped a French fry in ketchup and touched it on her nose so she had ketchup on her nose than she took their shake and he tickled her so she would give it back . I saw Shawn looking at me from the corner of my eye

Kara turned around quickly . Her and Shawn started talking .

"So do you like that Sammy guy ? Cause I saw you starring at him earlier and than you sighed . "

"Nooooo he's like my brother it's just that ..... like I never really had a real relationship with anybody before and I always want what Cameron and Naomi have because ( explains Aidan situation ) " Kara explains to Shawn

"I'm sorry Kara . You deserve better than that . I'll tell you what though how about I'll take you out on a date and you can do whatever with me . Hold hands or feed eachother food aha whatever you want . I really like you Kara and I'm not just saying that .... I really mean it ." Shawn promised

Kara's eyes started to tear up . Shawn saw them start to tear up and he smiled . He held her hand . She held his hand .

Once everybody was done eating everyone was tired and full . People started heading back to their cars . Shawn gave Kara his number and gave her a hug goodnight . Kara got a ride from Naomi and Cameron . Skate and Sammy got in their car . As Shawn was getting into the car he smiled and winked at Kara and got in his car and drove away .

Kara's POV
• In the car •
The first few seconds in the car were dead silent and than a wave if questions were thrown at me .

"omg did you guys give eachother your guys numbers !?"
"what did you guys talk about at the table ?!"
"are you guys gonna go on a separate date ?!"
"what's your guys ship name !? Shara right ?"
and all I could do is just smile and for once be happy .
