   You climbed up the stairs to the rooftop doors, you opened the doors and went outside, greeted with the orange-red colored sky.

Just as I was about to take my shoes

A girl with braided hair there before me
Despite myself I go and scream;

You took off your shoes, putting it by the door of the rooftop entrance and saw a girl with braided brown hair, sitting by the ledge, looking like she was about to jump. You panicked and shorted out.

"Hey! Don't do it, please"

“Hey! Don't do it, please..” you shouted in panic. The girl stopped in her movements.

The girl turned to you
Whoa, wait a minute what did I just say?
I couldn't care less either way
To be honest I was somewhat pissed;
This was an opportunity missed

   The girl turned her head to you and scooted herself away from the ledge while you walked towards her. ‘Whoa, wait a minute what did I just say!?..I couldn't care less either way..’ you thought, to be honest you were somewhat angry because this was a missed opportunity.

   You decided to listen to her problems anyways. You were good with comforting other people and cheering them up, but you couldn't do the same to yourself.

The girl with braided hair told me her woes

   She looked at you with sad eyes and started talking about her problems “You've probably heard it all before.. I really thought that he might be the one but then he told me he was done..” she said, her eyes welding up with tears.

   Yes, you did heard rumors circling around that a girl was dating the most popular boy in the school, but you were irritated since she was too gullible to actually think that a playboy like him would actually want a long term relationship with a girl he barely knew.

   “For God sakes please! Are you serious? I just can't believe.. That for some stupid reason you got here before me..” you spat out, your emotions mixed and the corner of your eyes wielding up with tears. The girl flinched at your reply.

   “Are you upset cause you can't have what you wanted?... You're lucky that you've never gotten robbed of anything!” you then continued, tears threatening to fall.
