"It's the last minute at the Soccer Sphere and the ball is at the feet of Kendrick Gillett. He passes the two defenders in front of him and he's got only the keeper to beat. The keeper comes front to try and close down the angle. Kendrick chips, the goalie moves back to try and get the ball. Ooh, this is gonna be close. The keeper manages to get a hand to it, but it is not enough and the ball is in the back of the net. GOAL!! That could have just been the winning goal of the Super League final between Orion FC and Cosmos FC. 1 minute left and Cosmos now try to score an equaliser. Their striker has the ball and he's got past the two defenders. Looks like this is gonna be a one-one. The striker blasts a powerful shot at the top corner of the net. It doesn't look like the goalie will be able to stop it. However, the ball hits the post and goes out of play. The whistle has been blown and Orion FC is the champions of the Super League. The winning goal was done in the 88th minute by Kendrick Gillett, who will be retiring from football after this game. "
I go up to collect the trophy with my teammates. It feels so good to be holding the trophy of the Super League in my hands. I have finally won this international club trophy after winning every other trophy available to a professional football player.
My team has decided to have a lap of honour for me as this is my last football game. I feel very honoured but also very sad. I will finally end my football career at the age of 37 with Orion FC, my beloved club, as their club captain.
