5 Years Later
It was 6 pm in the afternoon and Kendrick was playing football with his friend, Ethan and his family. It was at that very moment that Kendrick began to show flashes of his brilliance in the sport football. He had managed to get past all of his brothers and now only had Ethan, the goalkeeper, to get past too. He proceeded to get past Ethan by doing a Panenka, which should have been very hard for people his age but was very easy for him. He left his family stunned, with their mouth open wide. They then went home and Kendrick's father went to call some footballing academies such as the Orion FC academy and the Supa Strikas academy. He called most of the footballing academies of the clubs in the Super League and it was decided that Kendrick will go to each academy in the course of the next 6 months to do some trials and the clubs would then choose whether to sign him or not. The first academy he went to was the Orion FC academy, which was his hometown academy. He underwent a lot of trials such as strength and fitness trials, speed, agility and reflexes trials and focus and concentration trials. They also played some games such as 4v4s, 5v5s and 7v7s. Kendrick played as a striker in all of these games and he was brilliant in all of those trials.
It was then decided by Orion FC just a day later, that Kendrick would be the newest acquisition to their youth academy and youth teams.
