Oneshot type: Angst to fluff

Notes: This does feature the reader but isn't an x reader really, it's more of a platonic oneshot but there are implied crushes. So uhm, I sort of changed it in a way? I made it seem a tad bit more realistic for the sake of emotion and for myself since I wasn't sure how to go about making Johann and Caeser seeing his inner thoughts without making it seem too far-fetched. I'm not sure if I did it correctly! Really sorry if I didn't, I kind of winged it.

Luminous slumped onto the chair, limbs dangling over the armrest, fingers gripping tightly on his brown locks. He was in utter distress as the mission of taking care of the runaway princess drained him. And now, he might be targeted even if he returned Erii to them. He desperately wanted out of this mission, he wanted to return to his simple life back in Cassel College but because of his given S-rank, he had no choice but to oblige and push through. 

"Argh!" The more these thoughts circulated his mind, the more his irritation grew. Who could blame him though? All he was in this mission is the errand boy, the lost puppy who followed around orders given by his seniors.

'Aniki..Senpai..'

His hazel eyes gazed at the ceiling. His gaze burnt through it as hidden flames ignited within him. Overwhelming emotions engulfed him and he had no idea how to deal with it. But, he knew if he let it eat away at him, things will just get worse and soon, he would reap that what he has sown. 

He sighed, it seemed that even his own thoughts and conscience tormented his very being. He wondered if he would ever get the feeling of peace, but right now, it was just a figment of his own imagination; hopeless wishful thinking.

"You're sighing quite loudly there"

Luminous immediately shot up, "(Name)? What are you doing here?"

They let out a small laugh in response as they strutted towards the chair and made themself comfortable on the small cushion. Placing their elbow on-top of the arm-rest, burying their head up-top their palm, they sent a knowing look his way.

"I'm here to help you therapise, come on, just air out your issues"

Luminous nervously giggled, "I-Issues? I have nothing of the sort, I don't know what you're talking a-about" (Name) simply glared at him, a steely cold gaze forcing him to submit. Gulping, Luminous awkwardly shifted into a proper position. "Are a-aniki and senpai s-still there?" They shook their head, "Not to worry, they went out to grab some dinner"

Luminous relaxed slightly, relieved to know that he won't be interrupted. Letting out a shaky breath, he stared directly at them, his hazel orbs locked at their pools of (Eye colour). "I..be honest with me..newbie...do you really think I'm worth the S-rank?" 

His eyes focused solely on his companion, expecting a shocked response but to his surprise, their expression remained the same. "Is that your question?" The brunette scratched the back of his neck, flustered and baffled as he pondered their unexpected response. "Y-you, expected that?"
