Inside the safety and comfort of my home, all furniture and items were relatively the same aside from a few things. This, of course, was the electronic gadgets and furniture.
Aside from those, my clothes were sustained and intact, but the system showed something completely different. I didn't think my clothes would grant stats and effects, but some were locked out from use restrictions.
I immediately went through the kitchen and grabbed a protein bar, opening it up. The concept applied as I took a bite. A small yet familiar feeling went through the course of my body.
" The host has gained 3+ attributes in strength, Stamina and agility. "
This all applied to foods that I had except for water. I was in a different world.
Though the thought of it was exciting, I didn't have any understanding nor info about this world, Especially the monsters that roam around this area. Without the barrier, would he have killed me?
I was very reluctant to leave the safety and comfort of my home, as the thought of death was chilling and scary. As the hope of going and exploring dissipated, a sudden idea emerged.
I had three vehicles in the garage. One was an RV my parents owned and had given after peacefully passing away, a moment I had kept and constantly took care of.
Two of the options remained, and that was the jeep, an all-terrain vehicle able to fit five people and a space for storage, and last but not least was the Harley Davidson, which I was able to acquire at a low price was back in my world.
In the end, I chose one more protection and Mobility, which was the jeep itself. Although the bike was fast, it had the downside of being open in all sides of directions, and if another monster such as an ogre appears, I don't think my bike would be able to handle such a monster.
As I finished contemplating, I heard the loud of my stomach grumbling.
" First of all, I need to eat something. "
Third-person view
Visiting the kitchen, the young man swiftly prepared various ingredients on the table. On his right hand was a kitchen knife, the young man swiftly cut the tender meat. As a skilled veteran, he missed many pieces and left them from the side as he prepared to fry them with honey garlic.
On the next pan layed fried rice. This was from last night's supper. The odd thing about it was the rice looked to be freshly cooked.
He wasn't making anything fancy as he was too hungry and wanted to satiate his hunger fast. The process only took about twenty minutes as most of the meals were from yesterday's dinner, a famous cuisine in Asian restaurants.
" This should be enough. "
He prepared the meal and sat down at the dining table. Malachi was in deep thought as he took a spoonful of fried rice. His status was gradually rising. The quality he received was not high like the ones he received from the troll, but it wasn't small either.
After finishing his food, Malachi went to the sink and washed his plate. Although it seemed normal to anyone for Malachi, this was something he enjoyed.
Malachi let out a sigh and left the kitchen. A few minutes later, he arrived at the garage where he was prepared to go, but he realized something unexpected.
Above all his vehicles, a screen showed.

Malachi stared in disbelief as he could not even drive any of his vehicles. He approached each one and opened the door of each car. To his dismay, they didn't bother opening it even though it showed it was unlocked.
Even if he had the keys, the door itself was already unlocked.
" Huh, isn't this funny locked? I can't even use a vehicle I own. "
Stuck in a dilemma, he had two options he could either stay home and wait for some random monster to appear and hope those things were mindless like the last one. The second one was to lure them to the barrier.
The first option provided safety, but it could take longer because he lacked information about his surroundings. The second was faster but dangerous it was because he didn't know what awaited him outside.
Not knowing itself was already a danger, but what if something more substantial appeared right before him? It would indeed be a death sentence.
For some time, Malachi had been thinking away. He thought of countless ways to increase his level, taking advantage of the body that died outside the barrier.
