it had been two weeks since the discussion of the music video with dave, and now they were in los angeles, in the dance studio to practice the dance for the music video.
sara and calvit, camila's choreographers were also going to be choreographing senorita, it was obvious that shawn was not going to be bringing in a choreographer, he was not a dancer, he never danced, not even during concerts, he was known to be the guy with the guitar hung on his back and a microphone in his hand. he was nervous, he didn't want to make a fool out of himself in front of camila or sinu (her mother) who was also present there.
shawn and camila started off with some stretches, shawn's gaze fixed on camila through the mirror, she looked stunning. she wore a blue cropped jacket hoodie and tights along with some heels, even dressed in something so casual, she always managed to mesmorize shawn.
when sara and calvit showed them the dance routine, his eyes almost widened, it was so intimate, it was easy for calvit and sara to do, because both were professional dancers but were also romantically involved in a relationship, shawn ran his fingers through his hair,
he was not a good dancer, and being so close and intimate with camila made him nervous, but he had no choice but to dance. only hoping he didn't mess up.
they started of with an easier step,
where camila had to hit shawn's chest with her body and then shawn laced his hand in hers and camila let herself drop to the floor...only to be quickly jerked up by shawn. then he had to pull her into his chest and turn her and she had to slowly slide down his chest. her lips were parted, she was nervous and so was he. he then caressed her face making her look into his eyes.
after getting the steps they decided to do it with the music, camila put her hand in shawn's and he jerked her up the first time but the second time he was a second too late making camila drop to the floor. his eyes widened and his jaw dropped.
that's it
it's over for me
he thought, his anxiety messing with him. he expected an angry camila, but instead she laughed and he pulled her up.
"you can't just drop camila cabello, you can't do that, you can't do that again, if i do that again it's over for me"
he said into the camera, meaning every word.
even though shawn felt like his chance with camila in the future was over,
camila felt something entirely different.

shawn then had to carry camila, with her legs wrapped around his waist and her hands around his neck, he had to walk them to the wall and hit her back on it, and as she slided down his thigh he could feel the sexual tension between them, with both their lips parted intoxicated.
after practicing the dance, they gathered around sinu, and the others as sara showed them a recorded version of how the dance looked on her phone,
camila jumped with joy and excitement and shawn couldn't help but admire her with an adoring smile on his face.
"so the first day of the shoot is tomorrow huh? you nervous?" camila asked him as they walked out the recording studio, he blushed, "yeah, i can't dance like you, you are so talented" and this time it was camila who blushed.
