camila had just finished recording a song at the studio, she was driving to matthew's house to do something she had been dreaming out since the start of their relationship.
she was going to put an end to their relationship.
she had yet again fallen for a certain canadian and she was not the type to cheat.
but,
matthew was toxic for her, she thought of all the times he indirectly commented on her weight, her crooked teeth, the stretch marks on her thighs, and just so much more.
she pulled up at his villa and got out of the car, she wiped her sweaty palms on the back of her jeans and took a deep breath.

she had only been in one relationship before matthew, with a boy named austin, who cheated on her young sixteen year old self, leaving her heartbroken.
she used her piece of spare keys and stepped in the house, she admired it for it's beauty, but it didn't feel like home, it didn't feel like shawn's house in los angeles, or like shawn's apartment in canada
or maybe
it was shawn who was her home.
"matt!" she yelled and walked up the stairs to his bedroom.
and then she heard it.
"baby, i love you, i'm going to break up with camila soon, there's a hope for me to get a role in that netflix series baby"
even though she was going to end their relationship, what she heard broke her heart.
she walked inside his room, fuming.
"are you serious??" she asked him consumed by anger.
his eyes widened but he managed to look calm, he spoke a few words to the woman on the other side of the phone and ended the call.
"what the actual fuck!! you are an asshole, a whole fucking asshole, fuck you!! so this is exactly what you did to blake huh!" camila yelled, as tears welled up in her eyes.
she took a deep breath and mumbled to herself
"shawn was right, you are cheating on me"
but matthew heard it and then hell broke loose.
"shawn huh? you little bitch, you think i don't know that you have been screwing shawn behind my back, i saw the song you wrote 'bad kind of butterflies' was it!" he yelled at her,
shawn, shawn, shawn
he was sick of hearing that boy's name, the chants of the name followed him wherever he went and it killed him.
"at least i didn't cheat on you!"
after a few minutes camila stormed out of his house,
and all she felt was relief
