My Kitty (Levi x Neko! Eren) Ereri/Riren

18 ~ A Mistake

Eren's POV:

I felt so warm, i slowly blinked open my eyes and was almost blinding by the bright sunlight coming through the window of the room i was in. I looked around and noticed i wasn't anywhere i recognised, the room wasn't the tidiest room i'd ever seen but it definitely wasn't the worst. I mean, it wasn't up to Levi's room standards. Levi... What happened last night? Flashes of horrifying images filled my mind and i leaped up and out of the bed sheets, he's dead. How could i forget a huge detail like that? My mind was spinning in circles but luckily i was able to snap out of it when i heard a soft, hesitant knock at the door. I look down at myself and realised i was only in a pair of boxers, what the hell? I thought to myself and got up to find that my outfit that i had wore last night was freshly cleaned and folded neatly on the bedside table, once again i heard that same knock on the door except this time it was harder and more sure of itself.

I began putting my trousers on first and mumbled a quick "Come in", still extremely tired even though i'm guessing i had actually slept quite well. Soon enough, a figure walked through the door and locked it behind them. I looked up, Mikasa. "Get out." I ordered sternly, looking down and zipping up my trousers. Silence filled the room and i was getting more angry by the second, i glared back up at her and was so hurt to see that she was staring at my chest with a blush on her face. "Seriously?" I said and rushed to put my t-shirt on, this wasn't the time nor place to act like that especially around me. How could she do that?

"I-I Sorry-" She started to speak but quickly stopped when i stood up and back her up against the wall, "Eren, i just wanted to come speak to you about what happened last night. What i did was wrong, i was just jealous a-and i didn't want him to take you away from me. I had no choice you have to understan-"

"No Mikasa, YOU have to understand ME. I was finally happy, i finally felt whole and you just had to take that away from me and here you are trying to convince me that you did it out of love? You killed him, if you hadn't held me away then he would still be here" I stopped her mid speech for the second time that morning, rage fuling my body. She killed a man just for some petty crush she has on me. That doesn't validate her actions at all. "You're my god damn sister, Mikasa."

"No, Eren. I'm your adopted sister, we aren't blood related so technically it wouldn't be incest. Listen, i am better for you than him. Ok? I can cook for you, i can clean for you and i would and will do anything for you! Can't you see? He was better off dead!" She quickly covered her mouth with her hands after saying that last sentence seemingly shocked by her own words. I looked at her with tears in my eyes. "I-I'm sorry Eren, i didn't mean it i swear i didn't" There was a small silence until she leaned in and tried to kiss me, i pulled back instantly.

"MIKASA!" I screamed, i was relieved that i pulled back just in time but i was so angry. If she actually cared for me she wouldn't be doing all of this to me.

"I'M SO SORRY I WASN'T THINKING" She yelled at me knowing all too well that she had messed up once again. "IT WAS A MISTAKE I PROMISE" I backed up from her and looked at her with nothing but disgust, my sister just tried to kiss me. Somethings obviously wrong with her, why would she do that?

"I'm going to tell you one more time, get out." I stated calmly looking down at my feet waiting for her to leave, there was no movement for a few seconds until finally she made the right decision and opened the door to leave. As she was about to walk out, she bumped into none other than Hanji holding two cups of tea who just looked back and forth between me and Mikasa before moving out of the way so Mikasa could leave. As soon as she left, Hanji instantly placed the cups down on the table and brung me into a long hug.

"Here, i brought you some tea. It's the best kind we have, it was Levi's favourite too! Go ahead, try it" They pulled back and smiled the warmest smile i have ever seen the crazy scientist do and handed my one of the two cups. I took a sip and as the hot liquid ran down my throat i embarrasingly meowed a little in pleasure, no wonder Levi liked it so much. It really was delicious.

"Thank you, i really appreciate it." I smiled greatfully as i gave her one last hug and sat back down on the bed, they sat down next to me drinking the second cup of the tea. I sighed, i had a lot  of things to think about at the moment and i hated it. I wanted to be back to being as carefree as i was with Levi.

"What's up?" They asked wrapping one arm around my shoulder and taking another gulp of their drink. "I can see that there is something on your mind"

"Mikasa just tried to kiss me... I dodged her just in time but it was annoying that she'd think now was the perfect time to try and do that to me" I admitted, slowly feeling the weights lifting off my shouldes one by one.

"Isn't she your sister?" Hanji asked me obviously disguested by Mikasa's actions but tried to hide her show of disgust by taking another sip.

"Mhm" I nodded, tears started falling one by one from my eyes and i couldn't help but cry. She was meant to support me, not make me feel worse. Hanji noticed my change in mood and pulled my into a side hug and rubbed the back of my neko ears, i loved their hugs they were always so warm.

"Aww you poor thing"
