10 ~ Never Ever

Eren's Pov

I'm not sure where I was planning to run to but I just had to get away from them, they couldn't know about me and Levi just yet. I sprinted through the corridor, my boots hitting the ground making a big thump at every step I took when suddenly I bumped into someone. It was Levi. "Levi! Hi" I said and hugged him giving him a quick peck on the cheek before letting him go once again.

"Hi Brat, care to explain why you were running through the corridors like a maniac or are we just going to pretend that never happened?" he asked, his stoic expression never leaving his face as he looked deeply into my eyes trying to guess how I was feeling.

"Umm.. I prefer the second option if you don't mind" I answered grinning slightly at the look he gave me.

"Eren" he said a bit more sternly although I could tell he wasn't actually mad, he still had that soft look in his eyes that he only does around me.

"OK fine but only since you are being so cute" I gave in pinching his cheeks gently, he quickly slapped my hands away and waited for me to continue what I was going to say. "My friends were asking me questions about us"

"like what?" he asked calmly

"Like what I'm doing hanging around you and talking to you more often and then Jean had to open his mouth and make a snobby remark, you know what? It annoys me tha-" I began but before I could finish my sentence, Levi had cut me off with a soft and sweet kiss. After passing my moment of shock, I began to kiss back. He moved his hands to the back of my neck and pulled my face down to be closer to his to give himself easier reach. Ha midget. I gently tangled my hand within his dark strands of hair as the kiss deepened but before it could go any further, Levi pulled away. I pouted slightly to which Levi only smirked, "We can do this another time, for now you need to do your chores" he started, "for example, When's the last time you cleaned your room?"

"recently" I said innocently, to this, the dark haired raven only let out a small sigh and grabbed me slightly harshly by the wrist.

"Recently isn't good enough, we are going to your room and you're going to clean it so it should be sparkling by the time i get back" Levi stopped right outside my bedroom door and turned to face me, still holding onto my hand. I quickly realised this and blushed a deep crimson colour. "Do you understand, brat?"

"Yes Captain" i smiled brightly towards him and span around to open the door, i felt a little sad that i had to leave Levi so quickly but i guess i do have to do my chores. Maybe Levi would like me more if i did a good job. Levi was still standing in the doorway as i began to make my bed, i could feel his eyes burning into the back of my head as he watched my every move. I felt nervous not knowing what he was doing and also a little insecure if i'm going to be honest. I looked towards him and saw he just had his usual expression on his face.

"Levi, are you ok?" i asked him, sensing something is wrong. He snapped out of his dream-like state and answered me hesitantly.

"There is a mission coming up, it's quite dangerous and i don't really think that the plan we have is good enough." I saw his eyes started to prick up a few tears as he said that and i froze in shock and a little bit of fear, he never cries. It's kind of like i felt my neko hormones kick in and i immediately ran towards him and hugged him as tight as i could, rubbing my hand in small circualar movements on his back. I started to think about this mission, i didn't know we had one coming up so soon. If i didn't know then i'm pretty sure nobody has told the rest of the cadets yet, the thing that worries me the most is how this got Levi so worked up.

"It's going to be ok, i promise you" I gently whispered into his ear still holding him close, "What's the mission about?"

"We are going to be going outside of the walls, further than we have ever been before. We have discovered that there are much larger and stronger titans out there and we know exactly where they are" He explained, soon letting out a long breath that he had obviously been holding in. He seems to be calming down a bit which i am happy about.

"Well, if we know for sure where the titans are can't we just go anywhere but near them. We can just go the opposite direction." I said, pulling away from the hug slightly but keeping my hands on his hips.

"No Eren, our mission is to go to the titans head on and kill as many as we can. People are definitely going to die and i don't want that to be us. My life finally has meaning in it, i have you and i don't want to loose you."

"You won't loose me Levi, never ever ever!" I laughed and as he rolled his eyes jokingly"
