1 week time skip

Adina POV:

I finally felt Good again. I suppose getting the mark gave me an extra vote of happiness and confidence. I felt proud to carry the mafia the same way my mother did, and i was going to give it my everything for her

Today was the day. This was it. At the end of last weeks meeting I told them all to go home, start training and be prepared to hit up Mandalay Bay Casino in a weeks time. Well now was that weeks time. Tonight we are off to the Bay to gamble our way through the night, to get more money. If we win big bucks then we usually save half for weaponry, cartel shipments and other things, then split the rest between all of the LV Viper members, let them spend it in whatever way they went. After all, not all of them have day jobs to earn money from. However if we bag small cash, it only goes to building the mafia. For if we go into battle. That's right, we don't just laze around in casinos winning money from people, we fight. Head on, weapons out, people die. BUT...the family hasn't gone into battle in 35 years. Half of our members weren't even alive back then. Including me

We have never had a reason to fight since back then. Other mafias knew their place and were too scared to make a move. That's exactly as it should be. Don't fuck with us and we won't fuck with you. It's pretty simple really, though some people never seem to grasp the idea and it's always 'trying to steal this' or 'intervening with that' although it never woks out. Not to blow my own horn but We are too good

I knocked on the door that connected my room to Sof's. She swung it open and grabbed my shoulders, yanking me into her room. When she let go of me I wasn't prepared and I fell into the wall. Probably because she grabbed me with such force. "IM HAVING A CRISIS" she exclaimed. "WHAT DO I WEAR!". I looked at her, blank expression sat on my face. It wasn't like we were going to meet the damn president. "Why does it matter what we wear Sof?" I asked her, incredibly worried about how much love she had for styling outfits. I've always told her she should be a fashion designer. She's amazing. "WhY dOeS iT mAtTeR wHaT wE wEaR sOf" she mimicked me. "WHY DOES IT MATTER! IT MATTERS DEE BECAUSE WE ARE FINALLY BACK WE HAVE TO HAVE A GRAND ENTRANCE. AND-" I cut her off and knowing what she was going to say I finished her sentence "And to have a grand entrance you have to have a grand outfit, yes Sof I know" She was looking at me all smug like. She almost looked proud that I knew what she was going to say. Of course I knew, she doesn't stop going on about it. She was kind of right though, this was a big night.

Me and Sofia spent the next hour picking an outfit for our arrival to the casino resort. We decided the theme was metallics. In other words golds, silvers, champagnes etc. Sof chose a silver dress, sequins and diamonds coating the top half, the bottom a soft fabric fitting tightly over her curves. I must say she looked bloody gorgeous, but having said that she always looks divine. I wore a champagne silk ruched dress, sleeveless and covered it with a white overlay.

An hour passed, we reminisced on old times, planned new ones. Then it was time. The clock hit 8:30 and we slipped our heels on before grabbing a case, and meeting Crystal who was already in the car.

Shortly after about half an hour of driving, we arrived at Mandalay Bay. Walking through the entrance, we strutted over to the table, centre of the casino, where other vipers were seated. The attention on us. We took our seats and the night began...

Time Skip: 2 hours
After many rounds of roulette and card games like baccarat and yablon/red dog (winning most, I might add) we were at the final game. The upper hand was most certainly in our favour, as the bet of $15,000 that our opposers placed, ended up being ours. Victory was ours yet again. Not to be overly confident or vain, but obviously we won. We always win. We were the LV Vipers, the most powerful gang in the world. What can I say...we're perfect.

Gathering all the cash into the case, other members stood up to shake hands with the opposers. A few congratulations here and there, mumbled congratulations might I add. A few of the vipers went to the back to smoke, me and Sofia went to the limo to put the cases in the trunk of the vehicle, ready for our departure, before getting in and conversing about our victories past and present. Moments later Crystal joined us, slipping into the seat and asking us what we were discussing.
Limo drives were always one of my favourite parts of our casino experiences. It was fun to sit and drink wine, relax and talk about things you wouldn't believe. I love it.

Upon arriving home, me and Sof kicked our shoes off, before grabbing the leftover pizza from the other day and slinging it in the microwave to warm up. We then took it and rushed off upstairs to watch a film.
The devils own to be precise.
The middle of the night turned to the early hours of the morning, Sof sound asleep beside me. Me...I was still awake deep in thought. Not about something sad, scary. In fact, not about just something... about someone. Someone who's been in my life for all of a few hours yet still refuses to leave my imagination...

That person was Alejandro Salvadori
