Alejandro POV:
She was playing with fire and it was her that would get burnt. I still had a hold of her wrist even though she was facing me. I pulled her closer to me, my breath descending down her neck as I whispered in her ear "non sai cosa ti aspetta tesoro" [you don't know what you're in for, darling]. She looked at me confused, clearly not knowing a thing about Italian. I noticed her cheeks shift from tanned to a rosy pink. She was blushing. I had an effect on her. She snatched her hand back from my grip and brushed herself down, but she didn't move from her position. I wasn't going to let her leave...not yet. She can't go until I'm satisfied with my knowledge of her. It sounds selfish of me but I don't care.
Adina POV:
I felt the heat rising in my cheeks. I tried to hide it but it wasn't working. I could feel his smirk grow. He pulled back and looked at me, still holding my wrist. I yanked my hand back and no matter how hard I tried to turn and leave, my feet felt glued in this exact position on the floor. Don't get me wrong I'd love nothing more than to have one of those 'falling in love with the enemy and getting a happy ending' relationships. A Fantasy... but I know that I need to get back home and continue to run the business. I mean, it wouldn't hurt anyone if I maybe....no. But what if I...no. I was at battle with myself. Trying to convince myself that shouldn't but what harm could it do to just stay for a few days. Get to know him and then disappear. Yeah... That could work.

I just stood there. Still. Fragile. I didn't know what to say or do because he wanted to keep me here and I was letting him. I had to play this right. "So... can I go now or are we going to just stand here like utter idiots. No okay because my feet are really beginning to ache and-"
"oh stop moaning tesoro and go sit down, I'll sort you out in a minute" he said, and with that he disappeared into the darkness. I made myself useful by quickly tidying his lounging space arrangement before sitting down on the couch. Might as well be comfy right. Slowly I let my head fall back against the couch, only to find myself squeezing them shut and covering then with the back of my hand. Alejandro has turned the lights on...I didn't even know there were lights in this house but I certainly do now. "Owww, what's with the sudden light in the house, I mean I'm not complaining, it was like a cave in here. I didn't know you were a bat. I mean-" I cut myself off with the biggest gasp. He went from staring at me to his finger shushing me, an amused look spread across his face. "Jesus woman do you ever shut up. Sarcasm mhmm i like it" he cooed. Again I was shocked. A smirk found its way to my face. I stood up and wandered around, admiring the downstairs rooms. "Nosy are we principessa [princess]" He said softly, still grinning ear to ear. "Did you just call me...princess Mr Salvadori?" I laughed. "So what if I did?" Oh my gosh. My heart was jumping in my chest. Even the simplest of nicknames and words gave me butterflies. I ignored him though, not really knowing what to say to that. Then I did the most stupid irrational thing because for a split second I realised the reality of the situation. "Why am I even here. I don't want to be here. I'm not just one of your research projects you dick" I quietly slapped my hand over my mouth, facing the other way to him. I can't believe I just said that. Why did I just say that? Technically, I was using him for my research too but he didn't need to know that. I guess whatever happens next will result in how easy or hard it would be for me to leave.__
Alejandro POV:
I'm not going to lie... those words hurt. She's very stubborn and quick to judge. I mean yes my ways of asking her to stay were...questionable but she could have given me a chance. I have many guest rooms in this house. Small to big, but if she was to act like that I'll put her in the cellar. "What did you just say to me?" I yelled. I'd now lost my temper. I grabbed her hand and attempted to pull her to a room. Any room I don't care. I just had to get rid of her, not permanently of course but just for now, while I calmed down. But she was to quick and she twisted under my arm bending it backwards before yanking me towards the floor. She was now straddled on top of my waist, an angrily amused expression on her face. "Don't ever pull me again or I swear to Satan I will not hesitate to torture you in the most painful and unexplainable ways. Do you hear me? Good, I'm glad we got that sorted" she said huffing before getting off of me and walking upstairs to find a free room. There I was left on the cold marble floor. But I wasn't mad anymore. My temper turned to laughter. She was feisty and I was all for it. The next few days were going to be one hell of an adventure. I'd charm her, play around a bit but not get too attached because she has to go at some point. I can't keep her here forever, as she said...she has a family and business to run. As do I, I can't mess around for long, I'm a grown mafia capo for gods sake. I just needed some sort of distraction to satisfy me from the insanity id gain from talking about shipments every single fucking day

Adina POV:
I just left him there on the floor. As I walked off upstairs I could hear him laughing. Obviously he was flattered by my wonderful charms. I found an empty room and threw my suitcase down besides the bed, hoping on it afterwards. I may as well make myself comfortable if I was going to be staying for the next few days. Oh and let me tell you...I was going to make those days the most chaotic ones yet...
