Back in America:

Adina POV:

Alejandro Salvadori. 24 years of age. Born and raised in Italy, not far from Rome and has lived there ever since. Owns multiple chalets all over the world. Mother is dead like mine, Father left after their mothers death and only shows up when it affects him. Has a brother names Marco Salvadori and his best friend is Lorenzo Pasquarelli, orphan child who was taken under the wing of the mafia and became one of the best trained assassins of the Salvadori's.

I did my research. I had to know exactly who he was and who I was drawn too. That brushed me up on the basics but I needed to know him personally.

"Adina darling!" my aunt called from the kitchen. Me and Maria were officially living in the Fernandez residence and my aunt was currently visiting. "ADINAAA" she shouted sounding a little impatient. "Coming" I yelled and ran down the stairs, almost falling in the process. "I need you to do something about our missing cash." my aunt explained. I knew our most recent case of dollars went missing but I didn't think too much about it...until now. "It wasn't just the most recent case that went missing Dee, it was the most cash we have ever won in a long time" she exclaimed. I was slightly taken aback.

However, The thing about me is that I like to be a perfectionist and so I have little micro chipped trackers on every case we own. Just in case they went missing, like now. "Don't worry I've got it under control" I said, a hint of enthusiasm in my voice. I dashed to the office room, logged onto my laptop and rushed to check the tracking app. It was...near Italy.

I did some more research about any gangs in Italy and only one match came up. The Salvadori's. So they were the ones with my money...He was the one with my money. Oh Mr Salvadori, you naughty son of a bitch.

I had a plan. I was going to Italy. To get my cash back. Sof said she wanted to come with me but I said I needed to do this alone. Plus it gives me the chance to get to know him, even if it's for a small while. The Vipers can't know I'm trying to get involved with another Mafia. We aren't exactly enemies but we aren't quite allies and probably never will be. But my plan was to take a trip to Italy. I'd rent an apartment, "accidentally" run into him somehow and explore Italy at the same time. I called my pilot and told him to meet me at the airport 4:30 in the morning. I then went to pack my bags. I threw in a few designer summer dresses and outfits, my nicest heeled sandals and a pair of sunglasses before putting the case at the front door and heading to the kitchen.

"Packed already?" I heard Sofia say from behind me. She come up from behind me and gave a hug, leaning her chin on my shoulder. I hugged her back, I was going to miss her but I was only planning on staying for a few days, three? Four at the max. And as if she read my mind she said " I'm going to miss you ya'know." She doesn't know this yet, but if Italy is nice, I want us to go on a holiday break there, just the two of us. We deserve it. It is summer after all. "I'll miss you too Sof, but I'll only be gone for a few days and if all goes well I'll return with the cash and we can snag some of it and go on holiday because we bloody well deserve it!" I said. "Agreed. We most certainly do Dee!"

We sat and had dinner together. Ordered a greasy pizza and had some white wine. We laughed and talked and it was great. Not long later we both said our goodnights and headed off to bed because I had to be up at 3:00 and be ready and out the door by 4. It was 9:30 now meaning I'd get roughly 5 hours sleep but that didn't bother me because I could sleep on the jet.

My alarm went off. It got quite annoying actually because I didn't have the strength to reach over and grab my phone to turn it off so I lay there for a good five minutes listening to "summit" going off on repeat. Finally gathering the strength I got up, turned it off and stumbled to the en-suite bathroom. I jumped in the shower, the water running warm in attempts to try to wake me up a bit more. It worked. I then threw on a white top and a float blue maxi skirt, making sure to put my tactical knife in the holder strapped to my thigh. It was hidden underneath my skirt, smart right. That way if anyone attempts to kidnap me I'd simply pull it out and stop them. I also have a handgun on the inside large pocket of my leather jacket which I also put on. I slipped on some sliders, before heading downstairs, grabbing my suitcase and quietly shutting the door behind me.

I hoped in the McLaren and drove to the airport where my jet and pilot were waiting for me. "Morning Ms Martinez, what will today's destination be?" He questioned. "We're off to Italy if that's no trouble for you Tommy" I said. I tried to sound cheery but in all honesty I was still tired. After stepping on the jet and settling down, I felt the plane take off and not long after I fell asleep. That's all I remember before...

"Wake up Ms Martinez" Tommy cooed with a slight shake of my shoulder. With that I woke up and looked out to see the beautiful scenery of Rome. We were on a field not far from the apartment area I was staying in. The view of Rome in close sight. When I stepped off the plane a wave of heat hit me followed by a cool breeze. It was heavenly. "Thank you Tommy, have a safe trip home I'll call you in a few days when I'd like a picking up" I thanked him. "Of course ms Martinez, I hope all goes well! enjoy your stay" and with that he turned and headed back to the plane.

I took a deep breathe in. Taking in the gorgeous scenery surrounding me. Busy shops and cafes, people laughing, mime artists impersonating citizens on the road. It was truly magical.

But Out of the corner of my eye I saw a man being stuffed into an Aston Martin and following the tied up man was a tall, handsome figure dressed in black and blue. He turned around and it was at that moment that I realised who it was, he took a look to make sure no one saw him before getting in the car. It was him. A coincidence I think not. I had to thank the universe for making my job to get the cash back a whole lot easier.

I heard the rev of the car before it slowly pulled out and started to drive away. There was one thing I knew...

I had to follow that car.
