"TAXI" I shouted, turning to see the white car coming my way. It came to a halt and I swung the door open and threw myself in the backseat. "Follow that car right there, The Aston!" I pleaded. Listening to what I said, the driver sped after his car, following it down winding backroads and empty streets. We had to slow down at one point so we didn't seem suspicious. Soon we rolled to a stop, outside a grand mansion all black exterior, windows tinted so you couldn't see inside. It was a nice house though I must say. I payed the driver the fee and jumped out the car, before grabbing my suitcase and thanking the driver once more. When I heard the car fade away into the distance, I ran to the nearest bush and tore up my clothes a little bit and put my messy wig on. If I wanted my plan to work, I had to look like I'd been beaten or kidnapped. I was going to stumble to the house, crying and try the sympathy welcoming. I'd then find my case, and go. I changed my mind about meeting him, I'd love to but it's too risky to the business. If that failed I'd simply break in and attempt not to get kidnapped, but if I do it just means I'll be stuck with them for a while. Here goes nothing...

Crying. Such an expressive emotion. Each tear drop like rain to a window. I had to cry...so I did. Making myself cry was an easy thing for me. Especially after all the times I've emotionally blackmailed people into getting what I want. It's one of my not so hidden talents. I just pray it works this time. So now crying I stumbled up the driveway dragging my suitcase beside me. Reaching the door I went to knock but just before my hand could reach the surface it creaked open. My swollen teary eyes peered up to see the same tall figure dressed smart and standing proud, looking down at me. I knew he knew who I was which was why I had to play smart, me and makeup have my ways.
"Excuse me do I know you? Can I help you" Alejandro said. "I- I- I was k-kidnapped b-by these r-really h-horrible m-m-men and they- tried to k-k-kill me- b-but I managed to g-get away. So I ran f-for the hills and I've been- running for miles and the o-only house I- could f-f-find was this one and *sigh*" I stuttered sniffling at the end. I took a deep inhale holding it a few seconds before exhaling and saying "do you mind helping me. I'd really appreciate it if I could maybe use your bathroom to clean myself up and maybe make a phone call to my family and then I promise I'll be on my way, I'm just super lost and I can't quite *sigh*" yes I sighed again okay. I had to seem tired and frail. Weak.

"Uh- yes very well I suppose I'll lead the way" he said, strong italian accent peaking through. I stepped into the house and my was it dark. I don't know if this guy was a vampire or something but it was like light hadn't touched the house in decades. Don't get me wrong I'm all for blacks and navy's interior or exterior but this took it to another level. But who am I to judge, maybe he I don't know works better..in the dark? Maybe? Who cares I'm in. Im inside the house. First step shower, come out looking hot. Step two ask to make phone call in a quiet area and search for my case. Step three, get the bloody hell outta there man.
"Thank you again for letting me do this, you really are a kind man" I said trying my hardest to sound sympathetic. "Of course, the bathroom is right up the stairs, last room on your left, take as long as you need" he explained before turning and disappearing into the dark. I took my time walking up the stairs, trying to eavesdrop on any sign of conversation. Aha...
"Who was that boss" a very brooding voice said. "Just some helpless woman, she needed to clean herself up. Apparently she got kidnapped" he said. "And you believe that, what if she is like some spy or international liar" the other man said. "Don't be ridiculous, and by the way her clothes were completely torn up I think she had a rough time. We are gentleman Marco have some respect for women, I know you have trust issues mio fratello but it doesn't mean we are to judge the poor woman she probably went through hell" he said. So the other voice was Marco...makes sense what with them being brothers and all. I found it quite astounding that he was sticking up for me, but Marco was right. I'm not to be trusted and if he has issues now they are about to get a whole lot worse because if all goes well I'll be gone and the case...My case will be out of their hands.
With that I rushed upstairs. Found the bathroom. It was gorgeous by the way. I took a shower. Shoved on a red maxi dress and my leather jacket. Before heading back down to the door and calling out "excuse me. Umm-"
"May I help you" that same voice from earlier said. Marcos voice. I turned around to see the man. His jawline defined, eyes piercing into my soul, hair messy and falling slightly over his face. He had a cigar in his hand and he edged closer to me letting out a puff of smoke. "I- uh" I stuttered. I mean I was kind of lost for words. The attractiveness must run in the family. "The uh man said I could make a phone call to my family back home once I was cleaned up uh is that okay" I said. "If he said so. His name is Alejandro by the way, I'm Marco. But let's not do the friendly introductions, you can make the phone call and then get out. The phones in the office down the hall and the first door on your right" he said snappily before turning and storming off, clearly in a temper. Oh baby I know who you are, I know your brother too and that friend of yours. But you don't know me.

I found the phone and dialled a random number before placing it straight back on the desk. I didn't need the phone I needed my money. This room was big. Lots of hiding spaces. All I had to do was find where my case was and go. How hard can it-
*Click*
The door handle clicked and started turning open. I ran to hide in a cupboard. You see I'm 5'7 so hiding in a small and cramped cupboard wasn't the smartest because I have an awful back ache but it would have to do..."I know okay, I told you their money is safe. It's hidden in the office in the safe. Only you know the code. No one else. Yes I already told you the code once before..of course you forgot, it's 2804071. Yes that's it. Okay addio [goodbye]" he said before hanging up the phone, rummaging through some papers and then storming back out again. Oh Mr Salvadori, you silly silly man. You just helped me big time. I squeezed out of the cupboard and rushed over to the safe, before typing in the code and grabbing my case. Wow. It was that easy.
I carefully crept out and made a head for the front door. This was it. No time like the present. I marched over and quietly opened it and I was about to slip out when-
"What's that. In your hand...are you...stealing from me" he said before slowly stepping down the stairs. My heart was racing and every footstep grew louder and louder. "No- of course not" I exclaimed. "Turn around" he shouted. It was at that moment that I realised I'd now look like Adina Martinez because my makeup was washed away in the shower. Damn I didn't think that one through. Slowly I turned around to face him and took my wig off. He couldn't quite see me because of how dark it was in his damn house. I could have made a run for it there and then, hot wired his car and drove away but instead i did something so the opposite of smart that it seized to amaze me...
"I'm not stealing from you Mr. Salvadori, I'm simply taking back what was mine. I mean technically you stole this from us and I'm here to bring it back. I'm sure you would understand. Now I best be on my way, you see I've got money to spend and casinos to skim. Goodbye now"Run. my mind said to run. I turned and attempted to get out the door but his hand grabbed my wrist. Tight but not tight enough to hurt me.
"Well Well. Ms Martinez that's a very sly game you're playing. Be my guest, take your money back but you aren't going anywhere. Not until I figure you out because my my you have been on my mind and I can't seem to shake it. Have I been, on your mind... is that why you're here. I'm sure you have plenty of money at home and being as you already know who I am, I'm sure you were just as intrigued as I am, am I right...Ms Martinez"
I froze. Did he just?... oh Alejandro you don't know what you just got yourself into...
