'' Bye Mari and Hugo'' I smiled before kissing their head Hugo wiped it off and she picked him up and they got in the car. I walked back inside and I mostly sat around the place for about an hour. Until. ''Hey Chat'' Brandon came up behind me. I hummed in response ''We got him'' He said sitting next to me. ''Is he dead'' I asked angrily ''no he is in the basement'' I shot up ''what, next thing Hugo or someone sees'' I said walking to the basement with him behind me.
I opened the door and there was a man tied to a chair and my men were surrounding him. I took the bag from off his face and there was a cloth around his mouth while his face was bleeding as he winced in pain.

So Chloe and Cameron decided to take Hugo to the park I wanted to show Chat something I did for him so I went back to the house. I opened the door and the place was rather quiet. There was a bang downstairs and I followed it to the basement. I peeked down and none of the men was there I raised an eyebrow before heading back up the stairs but quickly turned around when I heard a man yell out in pain.
I peeked through the door Chat said not to go in and there he was punching a man in his face and his face was bleeding and the others were just standing there. He punched his face a blood splatter on his suit ''finish him'' Chat ordered one of them covered the man with the bag and he shot him this brought tears to my eyes and I gasped making Brandon turned and he saw me ''SHIT'' he cursed and I ran away with tears escaping my eyes. I heard Brandon and Chat calling my name as I ran up the stairs. I bursts through the door and stood at the window trying to calm myself. In the reflection of the window I saw Chat de-transform and Brandon was next to him. Brandon closed the door and Adrien walked up to me.
He put his hand on me but I pushed him away '' Don't touch me'' I cried out. ''Marinette just listen to me'' He whispered ''There is a dead man in your basement Adrien'' I yelled '' What if Hugo had seen that do you know what that would do to him '' I said as a tear fell from my face. He sighed 'yup he sighed that is all he does sigh' I thought to myself ''I have been trying to catch this man for years Mari'' He uttered frustrated '' So you decided to kill him in your basement huh, well he's dead you killed him in front of me'' I screamed ''I didn't know you were there Marinette'' he yelled back ''That still doesn't take away the fact that you killed him what did he do huh Adrien he never even got to say goodbye to his family.'' I yelled back.
''And you think I got to say goodbye to my mom when he killed her Marinette you think I will just kill him for nothing I was just a 8 year old child Mari and he killed her. I have been trying to catch him for so long I wasn't going to kill him but I lost it and I just did okay'' he slammed his hand on the window beside me as tears fell from his eyes he looked down. I put my to him ''Adrien-'' he slapped my hand away ''Don't Marinette your life has been perfect you have your parents and a child that loves you very much, he doesn't even know that I am alive Marinette'' tears fell from our eyes I reached for him but he pushed me away and walked away slamming the door behind making me jump.
I slid down the wall and cried someone opened the door and slid down next to me. ''You okay'' Brandon asked me. ''Do I look okay'' I cried '' No, sorry for asking'' He was getting up but I pulled him back ''Please don't leave I'm sorry I snapped at you'' I apologized he sat next to me. '' I lost my Mom when I was small'' I whispered he gasped '' I was 4 when someone broke in. My mom hid me under the bed and a man with a mask came in the room asking for my dad. She secretly told me not to do anything when she did reply the man pushed her on the chair and shot her in the middle of her head. I cried and cried silently and waited for the man to leave. When I came out my dad came back and he saw what happened and he took me away.'' I cried he held me closely to him and rubbed me trying to sooth me.
I got up and got an envelope and gave it to him. ''C-can you give this to Chat please'' he nodded and left the room. I changed into my hoodie and fell asleep on the bed with the hood over my head before I cried myself to sleep.

I found Chat sitting at the bar place with a glass in his arms as he swirled it around ''Hey Chat'' I said sitting next to him. ''what Brandon'' he growled at me ''Marinette said to give you this'' I passed the envelope to him. He watched it and sighed he moved it around and picked it up and left. I sighed and went to the door. ''Hey guys'' I said as Chloe, Cameron and Hugo came inside '' Hugo would you like to spend the night by Aunt Chloe'' I asked kinda nervous ''Yea but I have to ask me mom first'' he said like an angel ''She is asleep I will tell her when she wakes up k'' he nodded and Cameron took Hugo back to the car ''What happened'' she crossed her arms ''they had a fight and now Chat doesn't want to talk to her you already know how stubborn he is'' I rolled my eyes. ''O boy, sort it out and call me everything when you are finished k'' She glared at me before walking away. I cleared my throat and walked back inside. Marinette was asleep on her bed with her hoodie over her tear stained face I sighed and went to check on Chat. He was punching a punching bag till his hands started to bleed. I shook my head before leaving them..................
