Percy Jackson the last Spartan

Chapter.8

Percy POV

I was fighting a giant hoard of monsters when I was going back to camp and I was met by Luke, Nico, and Zoe (looking as gorgeous as ever gah I need to clear out these thoughts about her we are just friends) I thought to my self and I killed the monsters quickly before they could run to position and pick off some of the extra ones that I didn't kill yet anyways I explained to them what is happening we then went off to the forge in the direction of Mount. St Helens with the help of the mechanical spider we found the forge in a very short time and I told the 3 of them to hold off the entrance and that I will go in, to investigate and what I found surprised me it was a bunch of cyclopses and telekinesis with more hellhounds and many minor monsters crafting what seems like a black scyth (Oh no Kronos' scyth) I thought recognizing the weapon I went in battle and fought off the monsters but they were pushing me back I managed to trap them in but I knew that they will break through soon I went outside and saw the other 3 coming in 

"Percy we were so worried you had to stay in there for so long," Luke said

"It was mainly Zoe though," Nico said pointing to Zoe

"No was not."

"Yes, it was."

"Was not."

"Was too." 

"Will you stop bickering like little kids," I said pointing my sword back in the direction of the monsters "there is a hoard of monsters in there and I want you guys to leave and I will hold them off," I told them

"NO! We are not letting you stay here," Zoe said to me

"I will and always will say this to you, I can not have you guys be hurt, "I replied

"Fine" Zoe said kissing me smack on the lips "and come back alive."

"OOH!" Luke and Nico cooed "we expected it though."

And they ran away just as the monsters came through I realized that I would not be able to hold the monsters down and kill them all so I created a massive earthquake that was limited to the mountain and made it erupt killing all of the monsters but when I tried to run out of the danger zone I was caught in the explosion.

Zoe POV

I, Nico, and Luke were hiding under a ledge behind a rock and suddenly the ground started to rumble and when I looked at Percy I saw the volcano erupt and Percy is caught in the explosion.

"NO!" I screamed trying to run to Percy but was held back by Luke and Nico

"Zoe, don't do anything rash please what would Percy think if you died as well," Luke reasoned

I was barely calmed down by that and they told me to go and talk to Hephaestus and go back to camp and I realized that the last line of the prophecy was most likely fulfilled 

And lose a love to worse than death.

As I can't even be sure that he is dead it gives me hope but that hope will be constantly demolished and rebuilt every time I or someone else searches for him and come back empty-handed it would hurt even more and we went out of the labyrinth after a long while of trying to navigate it.
