Shannen's POV
I was watching some TV when my phone buzzed. I took it immediately.
"Shannen?", the softness of the voice immediately confirmed who it was.
I took a deep breath.
"Mum, is everything alright?", I asked not wanting to hear anything negative.
"Shannen, I have a meeting today and I want you to look after your father as I leave", she said in a rush.
A sight of relief came across me.
"Yeah mum, sure", I said strolling towards the kitchen where Harry was.
He was cooking some pasta as I entered. He immediately notice my presence and automatically gave me a kiss.
It was heart melting to know that I am married to this person standing before me.
"Hi", he shyly said.
I giggled.
"Hi", I said before giving him another kiss.
He chuckles.
I was about to giggle again when my phone started talking.
I forgot, mum was still on the line. Shit.
"Uhhh, Shannen, are with someone?", she asked curiously.
I was about to tell her when Harry grabbed my phone and answered it himself.
"Hi", he said with no care. He grin at me.
I tried snatching it but I was no match of his hight.
I gave up precisely.
"Okay Mrs. Maxile, we'll be on our way", he said before giving the phone back.
I glared at him.
"Hello mum?",
"I can expla-", she interrupted me.
"Shannen, darling, stop worrying. I am not mad at you because Harry's with you. You are his wife and I'm not against it.", she said.
I was still trying to cope with the happenings.
She was not mad.
"Uhh, Shannen?", she said slowly, making me get back into reality.
"Thanks mum and we'll be there in 20 minutes", I said before saying our goodbyes and hung up.
I glanced up at Harry who was blushing.
I gave him a confused look before asking.
"Why are you blushing?", I asked as I took out a fork and tasted his pasta.
He shake his head and blushed even more.
I got annoyed.
"Tell me or I won't talk to you", I threatened.
He just ignored me.
Okay, so if this is what you want, I'll give you silence.
I finished my plate and put it in the sink and immediately went to take a shower.
The water was extremely perfect. I felt so relaxed.
As I was in the middle of my shower, two arms snaked from behind. At first I got startled but relaxed after knowing who it was.
I was still mad at him, so I ignore him.
As I did my business and was about to exit, he grabbed my arm and swiftly pressed his lips into mine, making me melt.
I tried pulling back but I was no use, I was being tempted to kiss back. And so I did.
He smirked between the kiss.
We both pull away to get some air.
"And you thought not talking stops me from kissing you", he said as I rolled my eyes at him.
I got out of the shower and went inside my walk in closet.
I picked a blue pastel coloured dress matching it with my nude stilettos.
I applied some make-up and put my hair in a simple ponytail.
I got out of my room and went into the living room, to find Harry already there, sitting.
He notices me and stands up.
"Ready?", he asks.
I'm still mad at him.
I just nodded.
We were now inside my car. I hit gas and we were on our way to the hopital. I clicked on google map as it located what road to take.
Amazingly, we were there without getting lost.
I still wasn't talking to Harry.
We immediately got in front of the desk.
"What room is Mr. Maxile at?", I asked professionally.
She looks at both me and Harry before calling someone.
"Name? How are you related to Mr. Maxile?", as much as she looks so nice, she isn't.
"I'm Shannen Maxile, daughter of Bill Vincent Maxile.", I said.
She looked stunned.
"I'm so sorry Ms. Maxile", she said before calling someone again.
"Nahh, you shouldn't. ", I said before giving her my friendliest smile.
She sighed in relief.
After her call, she gave us the room number.
It was CL43
So we began to search for the room until we found it.
Inside was my mum sitting beside my father. My father on the other hand was sleeping peacefully .
A tear immediately formed.
