"Hey babe, did you get the cake?", he asked.
I nodded.
"Yes and -", I got interrupted by the doorbell.
"They're here", he said.
We walked together towards the front door, hand in hand. I glanced up at Harry as I breathed in before opening the door.
I smiled once I saw everybody.
"Please, come in", I said as I gestured for them to get inside.
Everyone then happily smiled and got in.
I saw mum and dad approaching.
I greeted them.
"Mum! Dad!", I cheered as I went in for a hig.
"Shannen, so pleasant to see you", mum expressed.
"Pleasant to see you too Harry", mum said while they kissed each others cheeks.
I hugged father.
"My daughter", he said.
"Harry", he said greeting Harry with a man hug.
"So, where are my lovely angels?", mum asked referring to Sophia and Michael.
"Oh they're up stairs", I said .
"Mommy! mommy! daddy!", a squeal from above caught our attention.
"Grandma! Grandpa!", Sophia and Michael squealed after seeing mum and dad.
"Ohh I've missed you my darlings", mum greeted before hugging them.
"I've brought presents!", father cheered after hugging them.
They jumped in excitement.
"Yay!", they screamed.
"Kids, what will you say to grandma and grandpa?", I asked.
Sophia smiled.
"Thank you!", Sophia said hugging mum and dad once more.
I noticed Michael.
"Michael, is there anything you'd like to say ?", Harry asked encouraging him.
Michael nodded.
"Thank you grandma, thank you grandpa", he recited shyly looking down at the ground.
I smiled.
"Welcome my angels, come on, let's get your presents", father said bringing Sophia and Michael to the living room.
I smiled at Harry while snuggling into him.
Mum excused herself .
I sighed.
"I love you", he said as he kissed me.
"I love you more", I said before hugging him.
Sophia then ran towards me.
"Mum, I want to eat some cake!", she demanded, making Harry and I giggle.
"Okay, who wants some cake?", Harry announced before we headed in the kitchen.
