"What?"
George was at a loss for words, why did he even speak again? George fiddled with his thumbs, a common habit Dream noticed he had, in which he sometimes peeled the skin off by accident.
"Stop that." Dream placed this hands-on top of George's
George did as he was told, placing his hands down on his lap. Dream removed his hands and turned back around to look at the TV that showed the news. Nothing new, bad weather heading their way but besides that nothing new.
George sighed looking at his friend's body movement, the way he looked so perfect. He laughed at himself, how could a person be so perfect and most likely not even realize it.
"What?" Dream asked looking back at his friend who had a smile on his face,
"Hm? Oh, nothing." George shrugged,
George wondered what went through the other's mind. Was it anything like his? The thought process, the...feelings? Most likely not, but he could Dream. What if he did? Would they have a relationship with each other?
Too many questions filled his head with what started with a simple question.

The silence filled the darkroom, nothing but the low volume of the TV. George leaned his head against the headboard. How about this, what if he admitted his feelings to Dream? What would that do? He thought for a moment figuring out if this was a good idea or not, in which he decided it was. Christmas night would be perfect timing to tell his feelings, mainly because he would be leaving the day afterward. It was a good excuse in case he got heartbroken by the one person who cared for him at this point.
"George." Dream stated not even looking at the brown-haired other,
"What's wrong with you? And don't say something stupid like what you have been saying. Because that's a fucking lie." Dream stated, George looked stunned by the other's sudden mood change.

Despite George's thinking Dream wasn't stupid enough to fall for what he had been saying. He knew it was all a lie, but wanted to give George time to tell him the truth but, Dream grew tired of waiting.
"I-I don't  understand?"
"Cut the bs, George. I've tried being patient, I have but you're lying straight to my face."
George was confused because he hadn't only been lying about one thing, he had been lying about multiple things.
"I'm sorry..." George slowed down his breathing, his voice was nothing but a mumble.
Dream turned around to face the other,
"Look at me." Dream stated, George obliged looking at the other.

"I don't care what your hiding from me, George. What I do care is that you're lying to me about it. I've known you for years, what could you not trust me with?" Dream sighed at the end of his sentence, still looking George dead in the eyes.
"I haven't been on very good terms with my parents lately," George admitted,
"I recently told them something that changed my life, and they said that I wasn't normal." George continued monotoned, he tried putting it like his family wasn't completely pissed at him.
"Okay...What did you tell them, George?" Dream scooted closer to his friend,
"I...like both women and men...?" George said, making it sound like a question at the end out of fear.
"Thats what they're pissed about?" Dreams voice was laced with a type of anger that he had only heard once in his life.
"What the fuck." Dream stated, obviously pissed but not at George.
"They're shit parents, George. Whoever agrees with them is also sick. You're perfect the way you are."
George laughed at his friend, his glossy. A soft tear running down his cheek.
"Stop crying." Dream said, put his hand up to George's face, wiping it away.
"They should be crying, they lost you over something you couldn't control." Dream said, his hands on George's.
George looked back up at the taller and smiled. He collapsed on his chest, relieved that he got that over with. But what about--
"BOYS THE PIZZA IS HERE!!!"
George sighed, looking down at his thumb, a tear falling down onto it.
"Please, George. Don't cry because of them." Dream pleaded, grabbing his friend once again.
"BOYS--"
"ONE SECOND MOM" the tone he used was a warning tone, it wasn't intentional but he was worried about his friend and his mom screaming pizza was here wasn't gonna help.
