Tom cocked his eyebrow, "what do you mean? Did you see headless nick?"

Y/n paused before looking around, was she really back at Hogwarts? Wasn't tom dead? Y/n mentally groaned, keeping her eyes on Tom, "no," she breathed out, "I'm sure it was nothing."

Tom scoffed, "seeing things again eh? You doing alright l/n? You seem off." He told her, waiting for her response. Y/n nodded, "I think I'm okay, for now at least. But did you find anything out?"

Tom rose an eyebrow, "about the Horcruxes? I thought we established it."

Y/n took in a deep breath, she had gone back to before she told them that she was from the future. She refrained herself from saying her thoughts, debating whether or not she should tell him about this. Y/n crossed her arms, watching him as he went on a rant about her not listening to him. It was pretty ironic speaking she was once again not listening. Snapped from her thoughts, feeling as if the strong wind had swept her off her feet for the first time since Tom had died during the Battle of Hogwarts. She waited for a bit before speaking once again, "Remind me, once again, I've been having issues with my memory" she hoped that was enough to convince him, she wasn't necessarily sure he was convinced but at least she tried.

Tm shrugged before answering, "I figured it would be easy, just use magic, kill a few wizards, then make them into a Horcrux." he explained, it rolled off the tip of his tongue very easy, but of course she's already been through this so of course, it did, nothing else seemed to come from him, so she just assumed he was done talking, She took in a deep breath and thought for a second, "so..do we just find wizards?" she asked, Tom shook his head, "not just any wizards, powerful wizards" he replied, she nodded, "I have to go...study." she replied, Tom looked at her confused, "study? you already know most of the rubbish they teach, you're like the smartest witch here,"

Y/n looked at him, "could never grow wrong with more knowledge." she responded, before walking into the courtyard, she waited till she got farther enough to pull out the time turner, it looked busted and worn out, she toughed it but yet nothing happened, she sighed and stuff it back into her pocket, "great.." she said aloud, "now i have to find another way home."

She thought for a second, this could possibly be a way to spend time with Tom before going home, for instance, he doesn't know she's from the future yet, Y/n could get away with it, she could try and spend time with Tom while also trying to figure out how Time travel works. if she did it once, she was sure she could do it again.

But that was when she had the time turner.

she could either find another one, or she'd have to go directly to the source, Dumbledore.

The hallway to the transfiguration classroom was of course the same as she had left it, to the wall details and everything. But now she just needed to find Professor Dumbledore, ask him about the time turner, and if it's fixable. By the time she reached the door, on queue, the bell rang and students began to exit their classrooms, students were racing each other to their next class, a few of them even stopping to say hello, she remembered how well known she had become last time she was in the past, she smiled at the thought.

She walked into the classroom to see Dumbledore, standing, tending to some papers on his desk, before looking up, "ah..Miss l/n, what brings you to my class?"

"you see...Professor, we have a slight issue." she started out, only to be interrupted, "about the time turner, I presume. Yes?" he cocked an eyebrow before taking a seat, she nodded and walked up to his desk, "Yeah, about that. I came back from the future, again, but it was an accident this time. i came back here and now.." she pulled the broken time machine out of her robe pocket, "its damaged, and i don't know how to get back."

Dumbledore nodded, he thought for a second, "time turners are....very mystical, not many people can repair such an item, they're also very rare in your time, not many people have one, as they were ordered to be destroyed by the order. A simple repario spell cannot just repair a magic item," he rubbed his beard, She sighed, "isn't there someone who can repair it?" Y/n asked, scared of what the answer might be, The professor thought for a second, "one person might be able to. But questing that far just to repair an object that may never be fixable would be suicide, especially going alone. Unless you want to bring people along with you."

Y/n stopped for a second.

"How far do I have to go?"
