I wake up next to Tyler and I paw at his face waking him up. He shifts back.
"oh think about turning it easy to turn back not to shift."I nod
I think and easily turn back I look down at my finger seeing my mothers wedding ring. The snow leopord isn't my true form.I hide my arm quickly.
"I got to go so I can get ready... tyler thanks for everything"

I turn away and walk out. I run down the hall and to my dorm. I show ally how to shift. her true form is a polar bear.
I get ready and head to class with ally. we sit down and class starts Tyler sitting behind me once again.
"why didn't you come back to the dorm last night" she whispers and smirks at me
"Ally!" I whisper. she giggles at me.
"he showed me how to shift" I blush
"that's it?"she looks at me questioningly
"no... he fought with his roomate,he's a panther... and he kissed me..." I mumble out.
she laughs "really?!" she whispers/laughs and I nod.
"well at least I'm not a bear!"
"Hey at least I'm not anolly I'm not a cat,well I am, but that isn't my true form"
"oh ya you had your ring on"
"ya, Tyler is gonna have a surprise when we go to training." at that momment he walks up putting my grandmothers necklace on me.
"you left it at my place"
"thanks..."my cheeks turn bright red and the class laughs. this boy is embarrassing me ...bad.
the 2 classes pass and me and Tyler head to the training area. I walk through the huge doors to a HUGE room.
"that's our teacher" he points to a tall woman."class the new-" she mumbles a B to the end of new."shifters will be here for the first time today so take it easy on them."the teacher yells
"what's her problem?"
"when your here for a long time with kids it wears at you."I nod
"new shifters there-"she points to a wall "line up ,others over there-" she points to the opposite wall"line up"

I do as directed and line up by ally.
the teacher explains how shifting works even though me and ally know.
I take off my ring and necklace putting it by my stuff.
"you"she points to me and I'm suddenly very nervous. "shift"
I step forward and shift.I hear gasps and see stares in awe.Tyler's green eyes bulge. I wonder what everyone is starring at.
"someone has a gift. dragons are very rare..."the teacher says
I shift back
"what do you have?" I grab my ring shifting with it showing off.I use my necklace next and turn to a small bird.
"blue night owl, nice" she says and I shift back walking back in line. she walks down the line. Ally's other form is a giraffe which is odd as the teacher says"
she writes down stuff on each shifter.
"now, you" she points to me and then to the center of the gym
"there now, true form"
I walk to the center and stand waiting for more directions.
"ummm"she looks over the new shifters then turns to the experienced ones. she has a wide smile on her face.
"Tyler center ,true form ,now."
he walks up to me faceing me.
"Mrs.steelia I'm a level 8 this would be unfair to a new shifter"
"the girl has a gift and she can handle it"

"she isn't your girlfriend or anything now get to it"
he grinds his teeth "I'm sorry"

we both shift
"Begin"
he lunges at me and he scratches my face before i flap my wings to rise above him makeing him tumble over catching himself before he gets flung across the room.I land softly and he runs toward me flipping me over with his size. He pins me down easily.I shift back and he does as well getting up.He holds out a hand to pull me up. I ignore it pushing myself up walking off.
"ooooo" the shifters call
"dissapointing,levels will be picked tomorrow,goodbye"the teacher yells
I walk towards my stuff grabbing my necklace and ring.
"look I'm sorry if I let myself lose I would lose two levels."
i wipe the deep but small scratch getting blood on my fingers. I flick it at him spattering his face with blood.
"don't be"I walk out down the hall to the next class.
