Chapter 4

The day had come June 6, 1920, Today was the day that Jordan O'Malley and the rest of the family to rob 4 banks in one day. "Ok boys and girls today is the big day were going to hit the 4 banks on each side of this city we will hit the bank on the northern side then we will hit the eastern bank after well hit the southern bank and then the last one the western bank Jordan you take out other members of different families. so everyone get in the car." Everyone jumped into the cars and we drove and parked in the back of the bank. And sure enough, all of the Mafia families were there protecting the first bank. Al and everyone else including Jordan even though he wasn't supposed to. Jordan grabbed a sack of money and ran outside. Then out of nowhere, all the other mafia families started shooting. Jordan took his gun out and started shooting. Jordan killed almost everyone but then someone from the Marino family the brother of the guy we had killed shot Jordan right in his armband. He instantly grabbed his armband where the wound was to keep the pressure on the wound. but he kept on shooting, Jordan didn't want to give up Then Al yelled "Stop Jordan get out of there your wounded!" "No, I will die protecting my family," Jordan yelled. Out of nowhere, there was a gunshot heading straight for Jordan so Al jumped in front of the bullet it hit him straight in the kidney. Then Al fell and was breathing heavily. "No Al please don't die." Jordan said, "Leave me you have a family you can't die here." Al said. Jordan took his armband and put it into the section where he was shot he then picked him up and carried him to the car "Please leave me here I won't make it to the car, You have a family you cant die here and let your wife raise your son alone." Al said. "Wait, son?" Jordan said, "Yes you have a son your wife Abigail Wrote letters to us telling us to let you go but Big Daddy O'Malley said we can't send you back." Al said partially sobbing. "Well, I can't leave you so if I die give this letter to my son," Jordan said while throwing Al into the car. "Take care of his wound," Jordan said as the medical help guys gave him his armband. Right as he slid on the armband he was shot in the back of the head and died. "No! please help him," yelled Al. But there was no hope he died at the scene but the O'Malley family continued and succeeded with robbing all 4 banks. A couple of days later they had his funeral with him in the same clothes he died in. they closed the casket and placed their armbands along with their guns on top of the armbands, and put his in the center then they buried him. What was truly heartbreaking was when Al had to tell Jordan's wife Abigail that Jordan had died she fell to her knees and sobbed. She was given his armband, gun, and the newsboy outfit. Al then looked at Jordan's son who was 2 and a half he handed the note to Jordan's wife and said "Give this to your son when he is old enough to read."
