Chapter 18

  "Stormy" A soft whisper invaded my ear.

I peaked open my eyes, looking at two blurs in front of me. I sat up and rubbed my eyes yawning. 

  "Oh great you're awake!" I herd my mothers voice.

I groaned "Yeah because you woke me up mom".

Beka and my mother were sitting on each side of my bed with huge smiles on their faces. If it wasn't annoying enough to be woken up early, now I had two people smiling at me. I frowned and pulled my blanket over my head " Go away!" I squealed.

  "Stormy do you remember what happened yesterday?" Beka pulled the cover from my head.

I thought back to yesterday. I was eating at the table with Ryan and my brother. We were going to a new school but I had a doctors appoinment. A doctors appointment? I continued to think back and remembered seeing my baby on the screen. I looked over at my nightstand and grabbed the pictures.

  "Yes! Doctor Netroe said I was three months" I smiled looking at each picture. 

My mother smiled back at me "Do you remember anything else? Like letting the doctor take a sample of the babys blood?" she asked.

I touched the top of my stomach remembering as soon as the words left her lips. I pulled the blankets off and lifted my shirt. Nothing was wrong with my stomach. Just a small bandage. I looked back up at them "Whos baby is it!" I nearly shouted.

Beka gripped my arm "Lets just say we're both going to be grandmothers" she smiled at my mom. 

I squealed at the top of my lungs causing both of them to cover their ears. I got out of the bed and wrapped my arms around Beka pulling her close to me. She hugged me back and laughed at my excitement. 

Oh I was so happy! This was Ryans baby! I didn't have to worry about it looking like Patrick. I felt hot tears sting my eyes as we pulled out of the hug. My mom had tears in her eyes and she was trying her best to hide it. I walked over to her giving her a huge hug "You can cry mom".

  "I'm just happy, that's all" 

We let go and I sat back down on my bed. I placed my hand over my stomach and felt my stomach growl. I didn't get the chance to eat anything yesterday after the appointment. I must have slept the whole day. My stomach growled again " I think the baby is hungry" 

  "Before you eat I need to explain to you what else Doctor Netroe told us" My mother said pulling pill bottles out of her bag. "You have a serious UTI and need to take these antibiotics twice a day. One when you wake up for school and one right before you go to bed" she opened the bottle and handed me a green pill and a glass of water.

I took the pill and watched as she held up the second bottle "This is to help you use the bathroom regularly. You will take one of these when you wake up for school, but just one a day" she opened it and handed me a blue and pink pill.

I took the pill and held the glass in my hand watching my mom "Stormy you also have Polyhydramnios, which means you have too much amniotic fluid in your womb" she shook a pill bottle in her hand "This is Tylenol, and you can only take one when you're hurting, and I mean you better be hurting because it's not good to even take pain medicine while pregnant" she gave me a stern look. 

  "Mom what is Polyhidrams, or whatever you just said?" I asked a little concered.

  "Like I said it just means that you have too much amniotic fluid in your womb, which can lead to your legs swelling and hurting. Your stomach is going to be larger then normal from swelling and you might find it hard to breath sometimes. It may cause you to go into prelabor but don't stress because i'm sure you will be fine" she grabbed my hand smiling at me.
