It's not hurt to be honest

It should be a good day for all of the Mekakushi Dan's people but... It wasn't for Kano and Kido. Kano got in a fight and Kido had so many bruises all over his body. Why, do you ask?

On the morning before the incident

The sun rose slowly, turning the pitch black sky into blue one. Kano Shuuya groaned a bit and blinked. 'It's morning, huh?' She though.

She yawned and sat on her bed. 'I hope. I really hope nothing bad happens.' She got up from her bed and prepared her bath stuffs. Kano walked down and boiled some water. 'Where's he? It's rare for him, wakes up later than me,' she wondered before she went up again, took her stuffs, and walked to the bathroom.

When she wanted to open the door, someone opened it from the other side. Kano eyes widened as she looked at... The half naked Kido. He only wore his short pants. And their eyes met.

"Wha-?!"

"K-Kido?!"

"Shh!" Kido covered Kano's mouth with one of his hands. Her eyes widened again and she dropped her stuffs.

"Mmm!" She tried to tell him but he didn't let her. "Calm down first. I can explain," he said. Kano slipped her hand and pulled his hand from her mouth. "I AM calm, but you didn't," she pouted. Kido looked at her with his cold gaze before picking her stuffs. Kano, couldn't say anything, crouched and picked her own stuffs, personal and girl stuffs to be exact.

Kido stood up and gave her all the stuff he picked. "... I'm sorry. I surprised you," he said after looking away. Kano, unable to say anything, threw his towel on his head.

"Baka~ I'll never forgive you~ hehe," she said it with a big smile and giggled. He didn't know if she meant it or not. Without Kido knowing, Kano blushed. The image of Kido half naked flowing and filled her mind. 'T-too handsome...,' she though and then she shook her head. She went in the bathroom and took a quick bath because she knew that the other were up.

When she walked out from the bathroom with her school uniform, a familiar fragnance filled the air. She smelled it for a second and happily ran down to the kitchen.

"Cappuccino?" She asked Kido like a kid. Kido rolled his eyes and gave her a cup. Kano sipped it slowly. "Ow ow! Hot!" She pouted a but and started blowing it and sipping it, she did that again and again. Kano didn't realize if Kido watched her until Momo popped from her back and whispered on her ears. 'I think he likes you~!" "M-Momo?!" Kano almost dropped her glass because of him. Mono chuckled until Kido hit his head with a mop.

"T-that's not funny!" Kano said with a faint blush painted on her cute face. Kido, in other side, blushed hardly. He hid his face with his hand. Momo started asking him why he did that and Kano couldn't drink in peace until the rest of the Dan went to the dining room.

Kano finished her breakfast as fast as she could. She picked her bag and used her shoes before finally walked to the door. "I'm go-" "Hold up." A big hand pulled the door knob. Kano turned her head and saw Kido was behind her with a bread in his mouth. "Kano and I will go first. Don't forget to lock the door!" Instead of waiting for the answer, Kido grabbed Kano's wrist and pulled her with him.

"Hoo~? Kido-kun, you're pretty brave to do this~," she said, teasing him and blushing at the same time. Kido didn't reply or say anything. He simply held her wrist and walked to school with her. "Kido-kun? Are you listening? Hey~ answer me," she said. Kido stopped walking and let go of his grip. "I saw you crying yesterday. What happen?" He asked, but he didn't turn.

Kano laughed nervously. "What do you mean by 'crying'? I didn't cry yesterday," she faked a smile, but Kido knew something was wrong. He turned and looked at her with his usual gaze, cold gaze. Kano looked at him back and smiled still.

"Are you worried~? I'm totally fine! There's nothing special yeste-" "Then why did you cry?" Kano sighed. "I'm not~! Even when I was... Geez, gimme a proof. If you have the proof, I'll tell you something." Kido pitched a bit and grabbed her shoulder before he pinned her on the wall. Their face were so close. "Can you..." Kido looked at her, and Kano looked down so he didn't see her blush. "It's not hurt to be honest." He said. Kano looked up. "Eh? What if I say I always say the truth and be honest to you?" Kano grinned. "Hehe~ You're an impatient type, huh~?" She looked at him and Kido backed off a bit when he knew how close they were. He gulped his saliva and walked again. "Wait for me~!"
