"This is going to be the worst Christmas ever."

"Come on, buddy." Louis pestered. "You have GOT to get over this "I'm so sad because Danielle and I broke up" bit. IT'S BEEN A YEAR AND A HALF FOR PITY'S SAKE!"

"Fine, fine!" Liam yelled. "I'll come to the parade with you."

"That's more like it." Louis teased. "We are leaving in five minutes so GET DRESSED."

Liam grumbled and rolled off the couch. He walked into his room throwing on a pair of jeans, tshirt, jacket, gloves, and a scarf. It gets chilly at night.

"You ready?" Louis asked.

"I guess." Liam shrugged.

"Oh my gosh, let's go!" Louis said grabbing Liam by the arm.

They arrived at the Christmas parade twenty minutes later.

"Wow!" Louis yelled. "It's packed."

There were rows upon rows of people standing waiting for the parade to pass.

They walked over to a empty spot and waited.

"When is this parade starting?" Liam whined.

"Be patient!" Louis said. "Ohh, here comes the first float now."

Liam turned to his left and that's when he saw her. The most beautiful girl he had ever seen in his entire life. Don't get him wrong, Danielle was, you know too, but this girl.

"Louis...Louis...LOUIS!"

"What?" Louis screamed.

Liam pointed. "Look at that girl."

"Ohhh, does someone have a little crush?"

Liam smiled. "Maybe."

Her float passed and for the rest of the night, Liam could not stop thinking about her.

The parade ended and Liam started to walk back to the car.

"Where do you think you're going?" Louis yelled.

"Uh..to the car." Liam said confused.

"Nope. You are going to go find that girl."

"Wha? No." Liam opened the car door.

Louis hurriedly shut it. "YES. You are."

Liam glared at Louis.

"Okay, now. Look." Louis turned Liam to the right. "There she is. Now, go talk to her."

"Fine."

Liam slowly walked over to where the girl was standing and cleared his throat.

"Oh, hello." She said. "I didn't know anyone was standing there."

"Oh, well, uh.." Liam glanced back at Louis and he gave him a reassuring thumbs up.

"Uh, well, I saw you on the float tonight. You did amazing."

"Thank you." She smiled.

"And, uh." The next few sentences came out in a rush. "You are very very beautiful and I couldn't stop thinking about you after I saw you on the float and I was wondering if you would like to go out with me sometime."

"I can't believe I just did that." Liam thought.

The girl looked shocked and Liam was surprised by her answer.

"I would love to go out with you, Liam."

"You know my name?"

"Yes. You are pretty popular around these parts." she teased.

Liam rubbed his neck and laughed. "Yeah. I guess I am."

"So, seven o clock tomorrow night? Funky Buddha Club? I can pick you up or?"

She laughed. "I'll meet you there."

"Uh, okay, good, great." Liam stammered. "Well, I guess I'll see you then."

"I'll see you." She said as he climbed in her car.

Liam turned to head towards Louis, but turned around quickly running to her car window.

"Wait!" Liam huffed. "What's your name?"

She smiled and looked up at Liam. "Becca."

"Becca." Liam repeated. "Okay, see you tomorrow."

Liam stepped away from her car and she waved goodbye.

Louis and Liam watched her drive off.

"Good job, mate." Louis said throwing his arm around Liam's shoulder.

"Thanks."

"Looks like you are going to have a good Christmas after all, yeah?"

"Yeah, I think I am. Thanks, Lou. I wouldn't have come tonight if it wasn't for you."

"Eh, don't mention it. Well, actually you can repay me buy driving us to McDonalds and paying of course. I'm starving."

"Alright, Lou. Let's go."

The rest of the night, Liam could not stop thinking about Becca and the next day when he woke up, he knew she was the one.
