(trying a new writing style, let's hope it's good 😬 let me know it it's too much 😭)

Kaira Henderson:

A leaden weight descended upon my chest, and a cold shiver ran down my spine as my heart sank like an anchor to the pit of my stomach. Unbidden tears welled up in my eyes, clouding my vision with a salty blur. The weight of the words hung heavy in the air, each syllable carving its way into the recesses of my mind, leaving a trail of emotional wreckage. There's no way he told her that...

I struggled to process the venomous declaration that Astoria had just uttered. The shock held me in its tight grip, refusing to release me from the suffocating grasp of reality. The words echoed in my ears, and a sense of profound sadness began to envelop me, like an unrelenting storm brewing on the horizon.

Amidst the turmoil of my emotions, Draco appears behind Astoria, his expression a mask of stoicism. My eyes, clouded by tears, met his indifferent gaze. The air crackled with tension as I tried to make sense of the dissonance between what I had just heard and the enigmatic aura Draco exuded. Heartbreak, betrayal, anger, I felt it all.

"I told you before, darling," Astoria cooed, creeping closer with a malicious grin, while an invisible force seemed to pin me in place, rendering me incapable of retreat. Her words reverberated in the cavern of my mind, a haunting melody of threats. "I will ruin your life."

The innocence in her smile clashed grotesquely with the malevolence of her words. A chilling realization washed over me, further numbing my senses. As she gracefully starts to back away into her own personal space, leaving me standing in the aftermath of her verbal assault, I struggled to find my footing amidst the emotional feelings Astoria had brought upon me.

Flashback from a few days ago:

I was changing my clothes into my silk, pink nightdress, when I heard the door open.

"Oh, hey Pans." I greet, not looking away from the mirror. Or at least, I thought it was Pansy.

"Hey, Kaira." I heard that same awfully annoying voice. I freeze. Astoria.

"Astoria." I said disgustedly, now looking at her. What is she doing in my dorm?

"I wanted to say something." She says, more like demands.

"Do I have to hear?" I spat, not wanting to listen to her complains again. I keep my eyes on myself at the mirror, touching up my hair a little.

"Yes." She spat back.

I sigh loudly before sitting on the bed, finally looking at her with a bored expression, "Go on, then. I don't have all night."

She rolled her eyes and puts her hand on her hips sassily. I resist the urge to roll my eyes at how she's acting like a kid with tantrums. "I just wanted to come here and warn you."

I snorted. Is she trying to look intimidating? "For?"

"What's going to come for you. I am going to destroy your life." She warned.

I snorted once more and reply sarcastically with a pout. "Aw, Greengrass. I'm so scared, babe. Shiver me timbers." I shake my hands, as if trying to prove my fake point.

"As you should be." She replies confidently.

I stare at her with no expression as I contemplate on how to break it to her.
