Mark comes back to Korea for the first time in many years. Yet he gets so lucky to meet Haechan who makes the boring trip into an intense and intimate adventure. How many things can happen just in two nights?
When Mark moved out from Korea, he was really young. He doesn't quite remember how exactly old he was but one thing for sure, he was still a kid. The reason for the trip to Canada was to assure the boy of a better life. His uncle kept on pressuring Mark's parents to let the young boy leave Korea and see the different side of the world. He was so persistent that in the end, Mark's parents agreed and the boy left his old home to get into a bigger and spacious house. He began learning a new language, then even started going to school and got way more comfortable around his uncle that he kept calling the man dad.
Mark was still in touch with people in Korea but the time difference between them won. His friends had school as well and weren't allowed to text with Mark because when the young boy came home from school, his Korean friends were just about to begin their first class. His parents, on the other hand, were very busy people and wrote only long letters when they had some free time. And there was Mark's younger brother who probably hadn't even miss Mark as he was so young back then he couldn't speak normally so why should he feel people's absence?
In short, during all these years in Canada, Mark lost the connection with his real family and friends. He is now 21, a grown-up man, with a different name and a different reputation. Mark is ready to start his third year at the university in the upcoming semester. He's excited but he's more than excited to leave Canada and go to Korea over the summer.
This thought was on his head for a while. Mark even began saving the money for the trip himself and when the right time came, he told it to the uncle.
The man agreed and it was the main reason Mark is sitting on the plane at the moment, feeling kind of weird leaving the country he grew up in. He is extremely nervous. Not because of the flight itself. Mark grew up with planes as his uncle brought him to his business abroad a lot. It is because Mark feels like he would recreate connection with his homeland again. He knows it will feel great.

The plane arrives in the middle of the night of the next day. Mark gets woken up by the stewardess and gets excited when he sees that the flight had already ended. He jumps from his seat faster than the woman can move and squeezes through her and the other seats just to finally get out.
It's midnight but Mark feels way active than ever. Well, maybe because he slept all flight? Either way, he takes a deep breath, appreciating the different weather and goes to the building to get his bags.
People walk like zombies but Mark is ahead of them all. He helps people to take their bags but impatiently jumps on his feet, wishing to see his own. As he finally does, Mark goes to the bathroom. He is lucky that there are no lines and he can go in unbothered. There he does his business, fixes his hairstyle that seems a bit weird but knowing that he slept his all way here explains why he has an antenna on his head. As he finishes that, he calls a taxi.
He knows his parents still live in Seoul, unfortunately, Mark is a little noob in choosing a flight and... well, he chose the wrong one. Instead of buying a flight to Seoul, Mark bought a flight to Busan. His uncle laughed at him a lot and Mark almost died from the embarrassment. The young male tried his best to prove that he can reach Seoul with no difficulties.
