CHAPTER 6 = STAY WITH ME

(Y/N's POV)

When I arrived back at the cult. I was immediately tackled by Doma, who bombarded me with hundreds of questions. Mostly consisting of: 'Where have you been?' and 'Are you ok?'.

I assured him that everything was ok, and that I just went for a small stroll through the forest. Doma believed me (thankfully), and started hugging me like there was no tomorrow.

I was relieved that Doma believed me. Although, I felt really guilty for lying to him.

The next thing I knew, was that I was being lifted off the ground. Doma was carrying me bridal style.

"D-Doma! Put me down!" I demanded, while I covered my flustered face. Doma just chuckled, as he started walking back inside the cult with me in his arms. "DOMA!!! Put me down this instant!"

"You must be tired (Y/N)-chan~ Why don't you let me carry you?" Doma asked.

"Because Doma, I still have legs!" I pointed out.

I started squirming around. Doma sighed and placed me back on the ground. Once I was placed on the ground, I immediately started walking.

"Eh? (Y/N)-chan! Where are you going?" Doma asked.

"I'm going to my room." I said.

"You're not gonna stay with me tonight?" Doma pouted. I looked at Doma and giggled slightly. He started doing his so-called "Puppy eyes trick".

I was never the person who would fall for Doma’s puppy eyes though. But I still thought it was quite cute.

"Doma, you know the rules. I may be your wife, but I’m still your maid, and maids are supposed to have their own respectful rooms, right?" Doma sighed and slightly nodded. I smiled and continued to walk to my room.

When I reached my room. I slid the door open and stepped inside. I closed the door and sighed.

I walked over to my closet and reached inside my pocket for the two bottles of pills. I opened the coset and hid the two bottles of pills underneath my clothes. Not the best hiding place in all honesty, but it will do for now.

I sighed once again. So...this it, huh? Am I  really gonna die?

I shook my head. No. Don’t think like that (Y/N). I’m going to be cured. It's just going to take some time.

Just then, a knock was heard from my door. "(Y/N)-chan~ Can I come in~" Doma's voice was heard on the other side of the door.

"I don't know, can you?" I grinned.

"(Y/N)-CHAN! C'MON! PLEASE!" I rolled my eyes and walked closer towards the door.

I slid open the door, and was greeted by a smiling Doma. I leaned on the door frame and crossed my arms. "Aw~ Why does (Y/N)-chan look so pissed-off? Is it because I carried her?"

I chuckled as I looked up at Doma. I smiled and wrapped my arms around his neck. "I’m not mad, my prince. I’m just a bit tired."

I then looked at Doma’s hair. "Your hair has gotten longer again, Doma-san." I pointed out. "Why don't I trim your hair later?" I suggested.

Doma pouted once again, "Stay with me tonight first."

I sighed. "No, Doma I-"

"Pleaseeeee!!!"

I looked at Doma, who was hugging me tightly, while begging me to stay with him. I sighed once again. "Just this once, ok?"

Doma smiled immediately. He started repeatedly thanking me, while I just chuckled.

"You really are a spoiled and lazy prince, huh?"

"I’m your spoiled and lazy prince." Doma replied. I started laughing loudly, trying so hard not to lose my balance. Crap, my stomach hurts.

That evening, I cut Doma’s hair until it was its original short length. As promised, I stayed in Doma’s room with him for the night.

"I'm so glad (Y/N)-chan is staying with me tonight." Doma said, as I layed down on the futon with him.

"Don't get yourself flattered, Doma. This is just for one night" I said, maybe a bit too harshly, as Doma frowned. "But…" I continued, making Doma perk up. "That doesn’t mean I don’t like spending time with you." I finished.

Doma smiled, and hugged me. I swear, I'm going to wear armor the next time he tries to hug me.

"I love you, (Y/N)-chan~"

"I love you too, my lazy prince." and with that, we both fell asleep. Both in each other's arms.

Isn’t this lovely?
